We had the good fortune of connecting with Crowned Royalty and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Crowned, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Taking risks for me is important, because I feel risk taking is what helps you grow. I’ve taken big risks, even though it may of meant I will lose followers or gain no interest in what I want my brand to be all about. For me the biggest risk was changing my brand into mainstream because I wanted to reach the world and make music people would relate too. And I feel that decision has helped me be opened and have growth as an artist.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others is my voice and my music, I make music that has a message and that can relate and help people. I’m excited for my music and my story to be heard, because I want to make a difference in the world though music and artistry. How I got to where I am today was through hoping and believing that I can accomplish my goals and dreams if I work hard enough. And it wasn’t easy and still isn’t. actually but with the loss of my mom it pushed me to the core, making more music and eventually making me into the artist I am today. Still working hard but I’m in a good place! How I overcomed the obstacles was just believing in me and knowing even if one person gets my message that’s enough. But it’s also okay if you want to reach the world. What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that, I’m a pusher, all I want my fans and future fans to know is push for your goals and what you stand for, and push for your dreams. And as an artist I will push for them. I just want my story and me as a brand to empower the world that’s my mission.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
So I would have to say my favorite places are!

the roadhouse cinemas in the springs a great place me and my husband go to watch movies.

Torchys tacos one of my favs because I’m a huge taco lover and very highly recommend them.

The clocktower cabaret in Denver to watch beautiful artistry take place. The most unique and fun people there!

And the penny arcade in manitou if your into arcade games and ticket collecting!

And can’t forget pikes peak, the most beautiful place to be in Colorado. At the top of it, me and my husband get the cinnamon donuts which are bomb!

Starbucks and Kangaroo coffee, wayfinder cafe are my most go to’s for on the go coffee!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My brother Nate, he has been the best and was always there when I needed him, he is the best mentor I could ever ask for.

Also my husband Brandon, also has always been there to cheer me on and encourage me. He is also my photographer helps me look good for pictures and my brand.

And also my mom and dad who isn’t with me today. Thank you in believing in me and creating me to be me.
