We had the good fortune of connecting with Oscify and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Oscify, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I’ve always danced to the beat of my own drum, but when it comes to improvisations, there are no mistakes. Playing it safe may yield guaranteed results, yet the danger of experimentation is often a path to great art. Where diligent attention to detail can showcase skill, wild paint splatter demonstrates emotional passion. Risk taking in art can often hold keys to greatness

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Since the days of my youth, I’ve had a very literary mind and a sort of overly verbose vocabulary. At the same time, I’ve always been fascinated by the colors and textures in music. Emceeing and singing came naturally. Eventually I took it upon myself to learn a few instruments and even how to whistle and snap my fingers a little bit. There are a lot of people out there rapping, but this isn’t fast food, and these are pieces of myself that emerge through every single song. If it was about the accolades and visibility of accomplishments, I would have left the arena long ago. It’s not as glamorous of a life as we wish it was , but I have something to say, and a very strong sense of purpose.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would show them restaurants like Gaetanos, Lechugas, Chubby’s, Camargo’s, Pazcauros, Chili Verde, El Valle, and the Spice Room. I would take them up to Golden for some Inner tubing, or maybe some hiking nearby. I would definitely check out the RINO and Santa Fe art scenes, Denver Art Museum and Meow Wolf Convergence Station. Depending on the season, a ski trip might also be on the agenda.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My parents taught me a love for art, architecture, culture, literature, and music, and just as importantly, helped me to ways to express myself. They deserve credit for setting me on this creative path.
