We had the good fortune of connecting with Lisa Huber and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lisa, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
This question has come to mind so often over the last year. I really believe it comes down to why you chose your path in the first place. For me it was about flexibility and
knowing that my goals demanded a change from me. I have hung in for those goals and knowing I can’t get to where I’m going without sacrifice, being scared, and uncomfortable. If change were easy there would be A LOT more happy people in the world!

I love that in my industry it is ever changing and evolving! There is always a challenge to navigate, whether it’s low housing inventory or really high interest rates. The important thing is to make sure you are encouraging and educating clients along the way because I believe there is always something positive in every difficulty

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My friends are all so vastly different, so it totally depends on who is coming to town! The best quality that each of my friends share is spontaneity! I love going to Idaho Springs to the hot springs and then to Azteca for Mexican or maybe hike to Chasm Lake at the bottom of Longs Peak and then to the best Thai in Boulder on the way home, Aloy Thai Cuisine. For my friends who want to go mingle and have options, I have to take them to Rino. The options there are limitless! There are so many fun bars and amazing food, and its so easy to cruise around on foot! Barcelona, The Source, Ironton Distillery and Match Box are just some of my favorites!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My amazing friends and family all have a huge role in where I am in life and my happiness. I am so grateful for the friends who inspire me to grow and be my best self. Especially my friend Heidi Kuker who is always in my corner. I really admire how hard she works to lift up other women, and her drive as a real estate agent.
