Meet Jonathan Nigh | Social Media Personality

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jonathan Nigh and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jonathan, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Inspiration. I want to show others that disabled people can run a business. Can be out there. We exist. And I wanted to be a role model since I saw no role model with my exact disability (Facial Palsy and Balance Problems).
My goal is to increase my outreach to see more people with disability not afraid to post more videos on Social Media, to appear more in public, etc.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I just want the world to know I exist. I don’t care if people like me or hate me, I just don’t want them to ignore me.

I’m overcoming my challenges by facing them head on. Unfortunately easier said than done. But its easier when you make that decision, and easier when you know that people support you.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Uuuhhh haha i don’t know exactly Probably take them to my nearby Alamo Drafthouse (movie theater where they serve in-house food and drink like burgers and shakes) and take them to a movie party (an old movie that you usually get things to fiddle with during the movie), they’re super fun! I blew bubbles at a Wizard of Oz one, and ate some candy at a Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory one, they are all amazing!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The Spectrum on YouTube, I don’t know his actual name, but he’s pretty cool and deserves a shout out!
