We had the good fortune of connecting with Tommy Dishman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tommy, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I took a class at Aims Community College on drones, and instantly fell in love with the all around environment. After taking that class I went out and got my commercial drone pilot license to get work in the field. After looking for jobs I realised they all required more hours than I had so I decided to start my own business to pursue my goals of being a commercial drone pilot.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I use my skills and knowledge with drone photography and videography to capture everyday events, structures, and nature from a different angle for others to enjoy.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Aims Community College helped me to find my passion and gave me the courage and knowledge to follow through with my passion into a career.
