We had the good fortune of connecting with Megan, Kevin & Alana and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Megan, Kevin & Alana, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Our thought process behind starting our TikTok channel CampThrouple was to hopefully be able to spread more awareness of healthy polyamorous relationships and to share our personal story. We had no idea when we started what this would turn into or look like, but we have been enjoying each step of the way.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets us apart? To start, we are a polyamorous triad! There are many stories and all types of polyamorous relationships which all have their own unique qualities. Our triad is closed which means we only date one another and not outside of our relationship. We are what you’d call “poly-saturated”. This type of relationship was new for all three of us. We are proud of the fact that we navigated this type of relationship and put in the work without having any type of community or advice from other polyamorous individuals. There haven’t been many challenges when it comes to sharing our story on social media. We have had a positive experience and a lot of positive feedback for the most part. As in most things in life, there is two sides to every coin and we do experience some hateful behavior, but it’s been important for all of us to ensure we always respond with love. We understand our relationship dynamic is very new to a lot of people and sometimes new can be scary. The lessons we have learned from our social media journey is there are a lot of people in a similar situation to us or are interested in this type of lifestyle, but do not know where to start. It’s important for us to make sure people know we are in no way trying to force our type of relationship on anyone else, but also we want to show love can take many forms.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We are moving to Loveland, Colorado in two weeks, but we did visit the state in June 2022. We really loved exploring Estes Park because we absolutely love the mountains, fishing, hiking and everything outdoors!

We’d like to give a shout out to our dear friends, Evan & Christina. They both encouraged us to start our social media journey and we don’t think we would have without their support!
