We had the good fortune of connecting with Roberto H. Aleman Producer | Artist | Entrepreneur and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Roberto H. Aleman, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I believe that the most important factor behind the success of my music and production business is my persistence and determination to achieve my goals despite facing numerous challenges.
Starting a business in a new country and learning a new language and culture can be daunting, but I refused to let those obstacles discourage me from pursuing my dreams. Instead, I embraced those challenges as opportunities to learn and grow as an entrepreneur.
Another crucial factor contributing to my brand’s success is my passion and love for art, specifically music, and film. I pour my heart and soul into every song I produce and every film project I take on, which has helped me build a loyal following of fans who appreciate and support my work.
Finally, I attribute my success to my willingness to take risks and try new things. Whether experimenting with different music genres, creating a new concept for video production, or exploring new business strategies, I am always open to new ideas and opportunities that could help me achieve my goals.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a multifaceted person with diverse talents, allowing me to thrive in the entertainment industry and beyond. It all started with my father, who introduced me to music at an early age by teaching me how to play guitar and piano. Since then, I have honed my skills in songwriting, music production, and singing, all while mastering the art of mixing and mastering to deliver professional-grade tracks.
As my passion for storytelling grew, I began exploring the world of filmmaking, creating music videos, and crafting captivating commercials. I soon discovered that music and film are two of the most vital art forms in the creative and business world.
In 2013, I founded Audiotonica, a company specializing in audiovisual design, sales, and integration. I work closely with venue owners to turn their spaces into state-of-the-art stages, providing them with the latest venue technology.
Despite my success in the audiovisual industry, my love for music and film persisted. In 2017, I took on the promoter and production director role for concerts and film shows in my city, gaining invaluable experience in business contracts and negotiations within the entertainment industry.
In 2020, I began to focus more on my music career and launched two new ventures, Creative Sector, and MusicDeck. The creative Sector is a marketing company and a film/recording studio that allows artists and creatives to bring their vision to life, whether it’s a narrative film or commercial project. Meanwhile, MusicDeck provides various services to artists and songwriters, including music production, video production, artist management, distribution, and publishing.
From a young age, I was fascinated by business and entrepreneurship. I helped my mother with her used-clothing business while learning about business practices through my grandfather’s body shop company and my father’s mechanic shop.
Despite my many accomplishments, I refuse to settle for where I am at. I believe complacency is the enemy of progress, and I always push myself to achieve new heights. My ultimate goal is to become a recognized name in the music, and entertainment industry, known for producing high-quality music and innovative film projects. However, I also want to use my platform to inspire the next generation of artists and entrepreneurs to follow their dreams and give back to my community.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend visited the Denver area for a week, I would want to show them the best time ever. Here’s what our itinerary might look like:
Day 1: Arrival and Relaxation
We would start with a relaxing day to get over jet lag and settle in. We might grab a coffee at a local cafe, stroll through the city’s beautiful parks, and enjoy a leisurely dinner at a trendy restaurant.
Day 2: Explore Downtown Denver
We would head downtown to explore some of the local attractions. We might check out the Denver Art Museum, stroll through the historic Larimer Square district, and grab lunch at a famous food hall.
Day 3: Outdoor Adventure in the Rockies
I would take my friend on a day trip to the Rocky Mountains to experience Colorado’s incredible natural beauty. We might go hiking, horseback riding, or even try our hand at fly fishing.
Day 4: Foodie Tour of Denver
We would spend the day indulging in some of Denver’s best food and drink. We might check out a local brewery or distillery, visit a farmers’ market, and try local delicacies at food trucks or upscale restaurants.
Day 5: Cultural Experience in Denver
I would take my friend to experience some of the local cultures. We might attend a live music performance at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre, visit the Denver Botanic Gardens, or take in some local art or theater.
Day 6: Relaxation and Pampering
We would spend a day relaxing and treating ourselves. We might visit a spa, take a yoga class, or simply lounge by the pool.
Day 7: Farewell Dinner in Denver
On our final night, we would have a farewell dinner at one of Denver’s best restaurants. We might toast our fantastic week and reminisce about our fun.
Some of my favorite places to check out in the area include the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the Denver Art Museum, and the Rocky Mountains. But really, it’s the people that make Denver so unique. The city is full of friendly, welcoming locals who are always willing to show visitors a good time and share their love for the area.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, I would like to express my deep gratitude and admiration for my mother. This single mother sacrificed everything to give my three younger siblings and me a better education and a brighter future. Without her unwavering dedication and selflessness, I would not be where I am today.
Next, I want to give a heartfelt shoutout to my close friends and relationships, who have always been there for me. Their unwavering belief in me, helping hand when I needed it most, and constant motivation have been instrumental in my success.
Finally, I want to thank all the online creators who have shared their invaluable insights, inspiration, and educational content with the creative community. Your tireless efforts and commitment to sharing knowledge have been life-changing for many of us, and I am incredibly grateful for your contributions.
