We had the good fortune of connecting with Thiago Fornazier and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Thiago, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I am originally from São Paulo, Brazil! I have lived in the Denver area for over 14 years. I came to the US as an Au Pair (nanny), and I was part of a family here in CO. I fell in love with this state, and then I began my professional career working with clients as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and Personal Trainer. Training between Professional Athletes and Collegiate athletes to business professionals helping them achieve their true potential with their bodies. My training background has given me an appreciation for helping those seeking a goal or accomplishment to actualize their dreams. Now, as a practicing Real Estate Broker, my passion for helping others sets the stage to ensure my clients will clearly understand every step of their Real Estate transaction. Consider me your Real Estate coach!
I live in Denver with my daughter. When I’m not practicing Real Estate, I explore the mountains, work out, play basketball, or travel the world.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Buying or selling a home can be stressful, and it could be financially harmful if one does not know what they are doing. I don’t see myself as a straightforward Realtor but as a trusted Real Estate Advisor. My home buying and selling process is seamless for my clients, as they have Clarity on the process, understand they have total control and can make their decisions with confidence. I am a full-service agent, so I can take care of everything so the client does not have to worry or stress about most things associated with buying or selling a home.
Getting where I am today was not easy. I think real estate requires a high level of trust, and proofing myself to my clients was a challenge. I did acquire market knowledge and marketing experience and perfected my process to help clients better. The results were so good that I grew my business mostly from word-of-mouth.
There were so many lessons learned along the way. For example, a home has an emotional value to people, and understanding that is important to help my clients.
So I really mean when I say I put my clients first. I take the time to understand their WHY, WANTS, AND NEEDS and I guide them to achieve what they are looking for
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Woof… there are so many restaurants in the RiNo, South Broadway, and LoHi areas. My favorite ones at the moment are La Dona on South Broadway and Alma in LoHi. Then definitely attend one of the sports events of our World Champion teams
A visit to Denver wouldn’t be complete without a concert at Red Rocks and a visit to the mountains
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Throughout my life and career, I have had amazing people alongside me, coaching and mentoring me to help me get to where I want to be.
I want to give a big shoutout to Brad Arnold, broker at Slifer Smith and Frampton, for being such a great friend and mentor to me on so many levels.
Sergio Nazzaro Become The Standard coach for being there for me in the hard times and guiding me to become who I am supposed to become.
All the agents in my brokerage for teaching me every day something new, especially Stephen Berg, as I have home as my benchmark of success
