We had the good fortune of connecting with Frank Hall and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Frank, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Freedom! I wanted to be my own Boss! I also wanted to fulfill a need.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m actually All of them!! I’m a business owner and an employee because I work for myself! I own Babiboi Promotions (Dj/Event Host/Promoter/Podcast Host/Film Producer/Rap Artist/graphic design/cd & DVD Duplication services etc)

My wife and I own The Pound Cakery (I am the COO /Baker/Head of Marketing and Promotions).

What sets me apart from others? Quality, Integrity and professionalism.

What am I most proud or excited about? Currently, I am proud of what my wife and I accomplished during the pandemic and post pandemic with the Bakery business.

How did I get to where I am today professionally? It took Faith in God and the abilities I was Blessed with, Commitment, Overcoming challenges, Surrounding myself with the right people, Continuing to educate myself in my chosen career path, Networking etc.

Is it easy? How can I say this nicely?? NOPE! It wasn’t easy and it still isn’t easy. I overcome challenges by facing the challenges head on. Then figure out the best way to correct or improve. One of the lessons I learned is, You have total control Your Own Actions or Failure to Act.

What do I want the world to know about me/my brand and story? I love to see good people win! I love to see people smile! I love to provide quality products and services!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
It would depend on their age and interests. As for food, we have great selections in the downtown Hattiesburg MS area! Buschman Cafe, Blu Jazz Cafe, Bourbon on Front, Fairley’s Wings, Royal Spices, Italian restaurants and more. For dessert, The Pound Cakery is perfect for Pound cake lovers. There are hangout spots that can fit a specific Vibe. The Mint julep patio is a popular hangout spot for good drinks and vibes. Night clubs Nostalgia and Zo’s Corna will always have some interesting and exciting people! It really depends on your vibe! We also have a Brand New Water park in Hattiesburg MS which is getting a lot of attention and positive press this summer. It’s located next to kamper park zoo.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
GOD, My Parents (My mother has always been in my corner), My Beautiful Wife, Family, Business Partners, affiliates and all of my customers who do business or recommend me, my products and services! I also have to recognize the business minded Men I grew up watching in the Palmers Crossing Community and beyond.
