Hi Wine And, how does your business help the community?
Wine And Dresses is a group of women who want to change the world by giving. In supporting various organizations, we empower individuals to make positive changes in their lives and communities. The resources we help provide enable recipients to pursue their goals, improve their circumstances, and contribute back to society, creating a ripple effect of empowerment and growth. Volunteering not only benefits those who receive, but also brings together our community.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Wine And Dresses stands out for its unique blend of social engagement and philanthropy. We’re not just a group of women dedicated to raising funds; we are a vibrant community of volunteers who come together annually to create memorable events that significantly impact other Colorado organizations. We’re excited about our ability to consistently engage and inspire community members, making a tangible difference through collective effort. From our humble beginnings of a small group, we’ve grown into a well-recognized organization, thanks to the unwavering support of our volunteers, sponsors, and community partners. It hasn’t always been easy—there have been numerous challenges, including coordinating large events, managing resources, and maintaining momentum. However, our commitment to our mission and the support of our dedicated team have been key to overcoming these obstacles. At the heart of Wine And Dresses is a passion for community and a belief in the power of collective action. We are more than just an organization; we are a movement driven by the desire to make a positive difference and to inspire others to join us in our mission.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Although our core team consists of seven board members and two dedicated helpers, it truly takes a village to bring our events to life each year. The tireless volunteers who join us in our mission are the heartbeat of our efforts, making it possible for us to achieve our goals and support the community effectively. We have been fortunate enough to support the following community champions in our past six years: Warren Village, Casa De Paz, Latina Safehouse (twice), Ameelio, From Silenced to Saved. for 2024, we are raising funds for Project I See You, who supports women as first-time homeowners in Denver Colorado through the Shared Power Initiative.
