We had the good fortune of connecting with Danielle Brill and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Danielle, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
It wasn’t until April 2024 that my dream finally became a reality. Owning my own business has always been a goal, and the ability to manage my own schedule and embrace flexibility is ideal—not just as a wife and mother, but as a woman navigating life with ADHD. While I’ve held many successful roles in the past, I’ve realized that I thrive when I have more control over my time. On days when my energy is low, I can give myself the space to recharge.
Now, I can be more present for my family and prioritize my mental health. My career has always centered around helping others, and while I loved providing direct service, it often left me feeling depleted.
Notarizing documents allows me to combine two things I enjoy—traveling around my community and meeting new people. I’m able to make the notarization process easier for clients who are often on tight timelines, unable to leave their homes, or in nursing facilities.
I’m incredibly grateful to do this full time, continue helping others, and at the same time, take care of myself and my family.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Starting this business wasn’t easy, but it’s been a rewarding experience. What sets me apart is my passion for helping people and the flexibility I offer my clients. As a mobile notary, I bring my services directly to people—whether they’re at home, in nursing facilities, or need last-minute assistance.
My business is a mobile notary service that focuses on helping individuals and businesses with their document notarization needs. In addition to in-person notarizations, I offer virtual notarizations through a Colorado State-approved platform, which allows me to assist not only clients in Colorado but across the entire U.S. Many of my clients often need documents notarized urgently, and depending on my availability, I can provide same-day service. If an in-person meeting isn’t possible, I guide clients through my Remote Online Notary (RON) platform, making the process seamless.
I also have specialized training and certification as a Notary Signing Agent for real estate documents through the Loan Signing System. This has given me a solid understanding of these documents, enabling me to walk clients through the signing process with confidence—without giving legal advice, but by making it as smooth and easy as possible for everyone involved.
As I continue to grow my business, I aim to expand my services to include secure document deliveries, mobile fingerprinting, and more to further ease the lives of individuals and businesses.
I’m incredibly proud of the connections I’ve made along the way. This work has introduced me to so many wonderful people, and I feel honored to play a small part in some of the most important, exciting, or even challenging days of their lives. My ability to show empathy and compassion is something I value deeply, and I look forward to continuing to support others and grow both personally and professionally.
The journey hasn’t always been easy. The hardest part of building this business has been overcoming the fear of trying something new, especially when it becomes your primary source of income. The biggest challenge is often quieting the doubts in my own head and taking each day as it comes, giving my best effort no matter what.
What I want people to know about my business is simple: my goal is to make your life easier. Whether it’s a document that’s been sitting on your desk for months or something more urgent, I’m here to help. I’ll come to you and provide the convenience and professionalism you need. The best way to reach me is directly by phone, and I’ll always greet you with a calm, friendly demeanor and work efficiently to complete your notarization.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting for a week, here’s the ultimate itinerary I’d plan for them:
Day 1:
We’d kick things off with a trip to Estes Park, staying overnight at the iconic Stanley Hotel—perfect for my fellow spooky-enthusiast bestie. We’d dive right into the haunted vibes with the nighttime ghost tour, which is by far the creepiest and most fun. Afterward, we’d have dinner and drinks at Cascades Bar & Restaurant, revisit scenes from Dumb and Dumber, and soak in the hotel’s eerie history. For brunch, we’d indulge at Brunch & Co. at The Lodge, all conveniently located on the Stanley Hotel property.
Day 2:
The next morning, we’d explore the breathtaking Rocky Mountain National Park, either by driving or taking a leisurely hike. Afterward, we’d wander through the charming shops of Estes Park, grabbing lunch at Penelope’s—famous for its mouthwatering burgers. To end the day, we’d catch a movie at the historic Park Theater for a nostalgic experience.
Day 3:
We’d start the day with an invigorating hike to Sand Beach Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park, where we’d enjoy a packed lunch by the serene waters. Then, we’d drive to Fort Collins and stay at the vibrant Elizabeth Hotel, a boutique gem right in the heart of downtown. After all that hiking, it’s time to unwind with some classic Fort Collins brewery hopping, including a must-do tour at New Belgium Brewery.
Day 4:
The next morning, we’d fuel up at Silver Grill with a hearty breakfast and their legendary cinnamon rolls. On our way back to Denver, we’d make a quick pit stop at Buc-ee’s—a new and quirky roadside experience that’s an adventure in itself. Once in Denver, we’d check into the historic Brown Palace Hotel for a traditional afternoon tea experience. Dinner would be at La Loma, one of the best spots for incredible Mexican food.
Day 5:
For our final day, we’d start with breakfast at Fox and the Hen, followed by lunch at the newly revamped Casa Bonita, where we could soak in the kitschy charm. We’d cap off the evening at Flight Club, a lively spot to play darts, savor cocktails, and enjoy a memorable dinner to close out the trip on a high note.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a heartfelt shoutout to my incredible support system—my husband, daughter, and my amazing parents. My husband has been my rock throughout the entire process of starting this business. He knows that working for myself is the best path for me, and his constant encouragement has been a driving force. I’m so grateful for everything he’s done to help me reach this point.
My daughter has also been a pillar of strength for me. As I build this business, I’m not only thinking about my own future but about setting a powerful example for hers—showing her that she’s capable of anything she sets her mind to.
And to my parents, who have always filled my life with words of encouragement, thank you. You’ve played such a huge role in shaping who I am today. Your unwavering support means the world to me as I navigate this journey, through all the ups and downs.
