We had the good fortune of connecting with Jerad Larkin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jerad, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in my career is that relationships are everything. Working with Chicago Title, I provide title insurance and resources to real estate agents across Colorado, but at the core of what I do, it’s really about helping agents grow their businesses.

Real estate can be a tough industry, and I’ve seen firsthand that the agents who thrive are the ones who focus on building strong connections—whether that’s with clients, industry partners, or their own network. My job is to be a resource, whether that’s through marketing strategies, education, or just helping agents navigate challenges. When you show up for people, offer real value, and build trust, success follows. It’s not just about closing deals; it’s about creating long-term partnerships that help everyone win.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m Jerad Larkin, the Mile High Title Guy with Chicago Title, and my business is all about helping real estate agents in Colorado grow their business and streamline their transactions through education, marketing strategies, and top-tier title services. What sets me apart is that I don’t just handle title insurance—I focus on being a true business partner to agents, offering them tools, resources, and innovative strategies that make their lives easier and their deals smoother.

What I’m Most Proud of:
I’m most proud of the community I’ve built and the value I bring to real estate professionals. Whether it’s hosting workshops on AI and marketing, helping agents optimize their Google Business Profiles, or putting together networking events, my goal is to elevate agents and give them a competitive edge in the industry. Seeing their success and knowing I played a small part in it is what keeps me going.

The Journey & Challenges:
Getting to where I am today wasn’t easy. The title industry can be complex, and real estate is constantly evolving, so I had to find ways to differentiate myself beyond just providing title services. Early on, I realized that agents don’t just need a title rep—they need someone who understands marketing, branding, and how to generate more business, not just close deals.

One of the biggest challenges was earning trust in a crowded industry. There are a lot of title reps out there, so I had to prove my value by consistently showing up, offering solutions, and putting agents first. By focusing on education, collaboration, and long-term partnerships, I’ve built a brand that real estate professionals know they can rely on.

Lessons Learned:
Relationships are everything – This industry is built on trust, and success comes from genuinely supporting others.
Stay ahead of the curve – Technology and marketing strategies change fast. I make it a priority to bring agents the latest tools and insights to keep them competitive.
Consistency wins – Whether it’s showing up for clients, creating valuable content, or staying engaged in the real estate community, being reliable and consistent is what builds long-term success.
What I Want the World to Know:
I’m more than just a title rep—I’m a business growth partner for real estate agents. My brand is built on education, innovation, and community, and my mission is to help agents succeed, no matter where they are in their careers. If you’re in real estate and looking for a resource who actually adds value beyond the transaction, I’d love to connect.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting Denver for a week, I’d make sure they got the full Mile High experience—a mix of great food, outdoor adventures, local culture, and, of course, a little real estate flair because that’s just how I roll. Here’s how I’d plan it:

Day 1: Welcome to Denver – Food & Views
Breakfast at Snooze (Union Station) – You can’t come to Denver without trying the pancakes at Snooze.
Explore Union Station & LoDo – Walk through the heart of downtown, grab a coffee at Little Owl, and soak in the city vibes.
Lunch at Avanti – A killer food hall with rooftop views of the skyline.
Afternoon at Red Rocks – Whether there’s a concert or not, we’re hiking the amphitheater and checking out the visitor center.
Dinner at El Five – Tapas + insane views of downtown at sunset? No brainer.

Day 2: Outdoor Adventure & Breweries
Morning hike at Chautauqua Park (Boulder) – One of the most iconic hikes in Colorado, and it’s less than an hour from Denver.
Lunch at The Sink – A Boulder institution with great burgers and deep history (even Obama and Guy Fieri have eaten here).
Boulder’s Pearl Street – Strolling, shopping, street performers—it’s a vibe.
Afternoon at Golden – Check out Clear Creek, and if they’re up for it, Coors Brewery Tour!
Dinner & Drinks at Edgewater Beer Garden – Laid-back beer garden right by Sloan’s Lake with amazing food and brews.

Day 3: Real Estate & Local Gems
Brunch at Denver Biscuit Co. – Because giant biscuits and gravy never disappoint.
Tour Some Denver Neighborhoods – This is where my real estate side kicks in! We’d check out Wash Park, Highland, RiNo, and Cherry Creek—each has its own unique vibe.
Afternoon at Meow Wolf – If they’ve never been, this immersive art experience is a must.
Drinks at Williams & Graham – A hidden speakeasy in LoHi with some of the best cocktails in town.
Dinner at Guard and Grace – If we’re going for a top-tier steakhouse, this is it.

Day 4: Mountain Day
Early drive to Breckenridge – About a 1.5-hour drive, but totally worth it.
Breakfast at Columbine Café – A local favorite before hitting the slopes or trails.
Options: Skiing, Snowboarding, or Alpine Slide (Summer) – Breck has something year-round.
Afternoon Stroll & Brewery Stop – Walk down Main Street and grab a pint at Breckenridge Brewery.
Dinner at Rootstalk – Elevated mountain dining with a cozy atmosphere.
Drive back to Denver for a nightcap at Union Lodge No.1 – A throwback to Prohibition-era cocktails.

Day 5: Sports & Music
Brunch at The Bindery – Great food and even better views.
Tour of Empower Field or Coors Field – If they’re a sports fan, we’re checking out a stadium.
Lunch at Linger – A fun, eclectic menu in a former mortuary (sounds weird, but it’s amazing).
Afternoon brewery crawl in RiNo – Ratio, Our Mutual Friend, and Cerebral Brewing are all worth a stop.
Catch a Concert at Red Rocks or Mission Ballroom – Depending on what’s playing, we’d end the night with live music.

Day 6: Day Trip to Colorado Springs
Morning drive to Garden of the Gods – Stunning rock formations and easy hiking trails.
Manitou Springs Visit – A quirky mountain town with cool shops and natural mineral springs.
Lunch at The Rabbit Hole – An underground, Alice-in-Wonderland-themed spot in downtown COS.
Drive up Pikes Peak (or take the Cog Railway) – Epic mountain views at 14,000+ feet.
Back to Denver for Dinner at Tavernetta – Amazing Italian food right by Union Station.

Day 7: Chill & Wrap-Up
Brunch at The Universal – One of the best underrated breakfast spots in Denver.
Walk around Sloan’s Lake – Relaxing way to wind down the trip.
Spa time at The Beer Spa – Yes, soaking in beer ingredients is a thing, and it’s actually amazing.
Dinner at Rioja in Larimer Square – One final incredible meal to send them off right.

That’s the ultimate Mile High week—a mix of adventure, food, drinks, real estate, and local culture. Denver and the surrounding areas have so much to offer, and this itinerary would make sure my best friend left with a full stomach, great memories, and maybe even the urge to move here! 🚀

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely! There are so many people who have played a role in my journey, but if I had to give a big shoutout, it would be to the incredible real estate agents I work with every day. Their drive, creativity, and willingness to adapt in an ever-changing market constantly push me to bring my best—whether that’s through education, marketing strategies, or just being a solid resource for them.

I also have to give credit to my team at Chicago Title—having a strong support system behind me allows me to focus on what I do best: helping agents grow their business and navigate the world of title insurance with confidence.

And of course, a huge thank you to my family. Their encouragement and understanding give me the drive to keep pushing forward and showing up for the people I serve. Success is never a solo journey, and I’m grateful for all the people who have helped shape mine!
