We had the good fortune of connecting with Weston Mosburg and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Weston, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
It all depends on if what you’re pursuing is fulfilling to you. If you’re working hard at something that is going well but you hate it, then you should quit. Alternatively, if you’re working hard on something you’re passionate about, but it may not be going as well as you’d like, that is the time to work harder. Which might mean stop and rethink how you’re going about it, or try it from a new angle. Keep going if it give you life and makes you happy, find something else if you don’t enjoy what you do.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I love making people see how beautiful they can be. Wether that means making someone seem bold and strong or just a gorgeous photo of someone. I love taking someone around different streets and creating a background and set from what is given. Using different angels and perspectives you can create something amazing that most people would walk on by without noticing. I would like the world to see that no one type of body, race, or person is any better than anyone else. At our core, we are all just humans, one species, we are all equal.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would go to La Sandia, my favorite restaurant in Colorado, then go Flagstaff Mountain to see my favorite views in the state. Lastly I would go to Red Rocks to show them a concert at the most amazing venue in the country.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to shoutout meditation. I’ve been doing a daily meditation practice for about 6 months now, and it has really made a difference in my life. I am more aware of my thoughts, more present with others, and have more control over how I react in situations. There is loads of science behind it and how it can lower stress levels, increase happiness, and raise productivity. I recommend the Calm app or checking out Dan harris’s podcast “10% Happier”
