We had the good fortune of connecting with Caley Praiswater and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Caley, can you tell us about an impactful book you’ve read and why you liked it or what impact it had on you?
The most impactful book I’ve read is “You Are A Badass” by Jen Sincero. The ways it has changed my life are immeasurable and I have read it dozens of times. It goes on every trip or vacation, it is weathered, torn, and bent. Each time I read it I mark new phrases and statements that stand out to me – parts that make me laugh or speak to me in that moment. The author is so funny and super relatable and has this zest and gusto that makes you believe in your abilities and want to get out there and actually DO it! Her book really pushed me to think about me, who I am, what I want, REALLY want, what my dreams are… and gave me the focus to make those dreams come to life. I know our business would not be where it is today if it weren’t for this book. No question!!! I recommend it to everyone!!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m most proud of us just going out there and following our passion and building our business from the ground up. It can be hard to keep pushing and pursuing what you want when life throws crazy wrenches your way or you get in your head that you can’t do it.

One thing that I think sets us apart is our true desire to bring someone’s dream wedding to life at any price-point. We don’t want our clients to feel any pressure to invest a certain amount of money in order to have the most amazing wedding day and we are always willing to look into different options to meet their budget. We want them to be truly overjoyed, and that supersedes the profit factor for us. We want to help create the day of their dreams. We also really value building trusting relationships with our clients and I love connecting with them on a personal level.

Getting to where we are today took a lot of really hard work and dedication. We each have worn a lot of hats and still commit to very long hours to get things done!

It is not easy to start a business on your own and continue to push, especially at the beginning, when you may be juggling the responsibilities of another job while simultaneously pouring your heart and soul into hoping your new business will grow. It can also be hard to create boundaries for yourself that are separate from your business; it really becomes a piece of you. I am still learning today how to balance everything and I’m also learning to give myself grace and have fun along the way.

I want the world to know that life is too short to not pursue your dreams and make the world a more beautiful place!!
You can do anything you set your mind to and there is only one YOU!! So be yourself and help the world shine!!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Red Rocks is always a must for anyone visiting Colorado, especially if they have never been! We would catch a concert there and then head into the mountains for amazing trails and views, with quiet, peaceful mornings at an awesome local coffee shop. My favorite shop in Estes is Kind Coffee, so if we were visiting there, it would be on our list! We would end our week with a comedy show at the Paramount Theater, also enjoying the 16th street mall!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband definitely needs a shout out – he is my partner in life and in business!! He is my world and without him I would be lost. He is always encouraging me to do my personal best and never give up on my dreams. He has supported me 100% and is always there for me, whether I need him to help with a crazy last minute project or to talk through a big picture problem and how to solve it. He’s my sounding board, my quality control, fixer of everything, best friend, and the best partner. I couldn’t do this without him!!
