Meet Mariah Juarez | Founder & CEO

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mariah Juarez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mariah, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The thought process behind starting my own business really came from a desire to make a difference in the world. I have always known I was meant to serve people in a meaningful way. I just did not know how God would use me or what that path would look like.
My journey into the wedding industry began back in Texas, where I worked for a DJ company. I loved being a part of weddings and helping create some of the best memories of people’s lives. But one particular wedding shifted everything for me. I was DJing and noticed that the bride looked overwhelmed and deeply unhappy. Each time she spoke with her coordinator, she seemed more upset. It was clear she did not feel supported, and her stress was taking over what should have been one of the most joyful days of her life.
Seeing that broke my heart, and something in me clicked. I realized I could be that person for brides and couples… The one who makes sure they feel seen, supported, and genuinely cared for. I knew I could do more than just help weddings run smoothly. I could help people actually enjoy their wedding day. That moment planted the seed, and from there, I felt led to start something of my own.
I launched Full Bloom Events in 2018 because I wanted to create a space where every couple feels celebrated and every detail is handled with heart. Since moving to Colorado in 2021, I have continued building this business with the goal of serving others with excellence, compassion, and joy. I believe God gave me this calling to love and support people on one of the most important days of their lives, and I feel incredibly grateful to live that out through the work I do.

What should our readers know about your business?
Full Bloom Events is more than just a wedding coordination company. It’s about creating an experience where our couples feel fully seen, completely supported, and genuinely celebrated. We take care of all the logistics and behind-the-scenes details, but we do it with all our hearts. We show up like your best friend who just gets it, ready to make your day happen, calm the chaos, and keep everything running smoothly so you can soak in every single second.
I built this business myself from the ground up. I’m completely self-taught. No business degree. No investors. Just a whole lot of determination, faith, late nights, and a vision for how I knew weddings could feel when the right person was in your corner. I’ve done it all, every email, every strategy, every pivot, and because of that, Full Bloom isn’t just a business. It’s me, my entire heart and soul.
When I got hacked in 2021 and lost my business page on Facebook, I could’ve let that break me. But instead, I learned to rely on myself, not the platforms. I taught myself how to market more strategically, how to be in multiple places at once, and how to build something stronger than I ever had before. Now we’ve been fully booked for over three years straight, and it’s no accident. That came from hustle, innovation, & showing up differently.
One way we do that? By getting real personal with everyone. We show up with heart. We welcome people in. We tell stories, share tips, celebrate wins, and make sure people know exactly who we are and how we care. Every couple, vendor, & parent we work with is treated like they matter, because to us, they truly do. Treating others the way Jesus truly would is everything.
We also offer services that most coordination teams can’t (or won’t) touch. From capturing behind-the-scenes content to not charging “per minute” client calls, we’re built to go the extra mile. We know our services come with a price tag, and we make sure you get every bit of value and more. When you book us, you’re not just paying for a wedding coordinator… you’re getting an entire experience, thoughtfully built and deeply cared for.
And because we believe in giving back, a portion of every dollar we earn gets donated. We don’t just want to make a difference on wedding days. We want to make a difference in the world.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting, I’d keep it relaxed but fun. We’d start with easy hikes like Red Rock Canyon or Palmer Park for great views without the sweat. For food and drinks, places like Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, ViewHouse, or Bubba’s hit that laid-back, tasty vibe perfectly. I’d plan some shopping trips around Old Colorado City and downtown Colorado Springs because there are lots of cute shops and coffee spots to explore.
We’d also check out local events like book sales, public singing, or farmers’ markets. Those little community moments give the best local feelings. Evenings would be for grabbing drinks at cozy spots and maybe catching some live music. All in all, it’s about good food, easy hikes, local charm, and soaking up the laid-back Colorado vibes for me!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would not be where I am today without God. From the very beginning, even when I didn’t know what my purpose was, and I was making some major mistakes in life, I trusted that He would lead me… and He absolutely did. Every step, every twist and turn, He was guiding me toward something greater, even when I couldn’t see it clearly at the time.
I also have to give so much credit to my family. Their constant love and encouragement have carried me through every season. My mom, especially, has been my biggest cheerleader. She’s believed in me even in the moments when I wasn’t quite sure of myself, and I owe a huge part of my drive and heart to her. And Eric, the DJ I worked for back in Texas, played such a major role in my story. He gave me my start in the wedding world, and if it weren’t for him taking a chance on me, I don’t know that Full Bloom Events would even exist.
And then there’s my husband. My steady, supportive, always-in-my-corner person. He has been there through every late night, every big decision, and every moment of doubt, helping in every single way that he can. Whether it is lifting heavy things, talking through tough moments, or just being the calm in the chaos, he shows up for me without question. I couldn’t do this without him and I genuinely mean that.
Lastly, I have to shout out Lauren. My business partner and best friend. I feel lucky every day to do this with someone who just gets it. Her presence in my life and this business is a gift I never take for granted.
