Meet Gretchen Pleshaw

We had the good fortune of connecting with Gretchen Pleshaw and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Gretchen, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I truly believe the most important factor behind someone’s success and definitely behind mine is a positive attitude. Don’t get me wrong some days it is easier than others but it’s always important to maintain this glass half full outlook. I have definitely run in to days where I feel like giving up because I didn’t get a gig I wanted or I feel defeated, but it’s so important to remember that it’s all part of the process. My ultimate goal I’m being a Tv and radio host/personality is to make other people smile and spread the love and light in a world that can sometimes be dark.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I love being a radio and tv personality. I have always loved talking to people and hearing about people’s stories. I love interviewing people and then sharing their stories. I try to make people smile and share their truth with positivity and creativity. I started modeling when I was younger and it led to many new doors opening one being a commercial for a Mexican restaurant where I talked in the commercial and the director liked my energy on the commercial and asked if I’d ever be interested in hosting my own show. This is how I started hosting my first tv show. I am a strong believer that everything happens for a reason. I was so excited about this new journey and I haven’t stopped on this journey.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If it’s in the winter I would have them go on the mountain (preferably Beaver Creek)and ski or snowboard with them. Then maybe hot chocolate or coffee at Yetis Grind then dinner at one of the amazing restaurants and in the spring or summer a hike with me in the beautiful mountains then the farmers market and end with a Sup float for sunset.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have an amazing support system of people. My Mom and My Dad (who recently passed away) who have guided me through the years and are my biggest cheerleaders and my friends and my fiance.
