Meet Kimberly Hogate | CEO & Founder | SynchroniCITY SEO

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kimberly Hogate and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kimberly, what makes you happy? Why?
I love this question. What makes me happy is seeing my clients (and friends, family and colleagues) put effort into their dreams and walk the entire way it takes to start a business. There is absolutely no way to fail when you consistently try, learn, grow and improve.
It might not look exactly the same as what you thought in the beginning, but if you have so much discipline that you can’t stray from your dream even for a day and you think about it all the time – there is seriously no way you can fail. You are meant to be an entrepreneur.
We did not choose this path! The path chose us. Every entrepreneur can surely vouch for that. Many times, we go into fields we think will be rewarding, but if you have the “entrepreneur gene” – you end up in leadership positions over and over to the point where you think…. hmmmm…. I could do this, or make this, or be this… myself.
And then poof – you begin your journey – pulled simply by your aspirations. It’s truly magical! Helping other achieve that dream (and make it extremely durable, sustainable and long-lasting) – is what makes me happy!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
As a woman in tech, we are rare! What separates SynchroniCITY SEO from other search engine optimization and advertising agencies is that we are relentless in our details. We are work 1-1 with you. We are transparent and actually show you exactly how and why something is or isn’t working.
So many clients come to us frustrated from their current or past experience with their marketing agency. Many times they come to us with a very vague understanding of their own statistics or tech set-up. Instead of keeping it like that, I share, educate, and provide screenshots and videos of the exact tech – so they can truly feel and experience the progress – together.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite spots are our co-working space at Enterprise Coworking in RiNo (awesome rooftop!), as well as Union Station and Larimer Square in Downtown Denver. In fact – another shout out to the late Dana Crawford (her story is amazing) for being an industrious and pioneering woman in Denver and one of the founders of mixed use commercial and retail, combined with historical architectural preservation. Denver has some amazing places!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout to the book: Business Therapy: The Anxious Entrepreneur’s Quick Guide to Success: How Living Slowly Can Help You Conquer Your Business and Life Faster. This book helped so much to organize how ebbs and flows can actually help you gain traction, thoughts on pricing and boundaries, and so much more!
