We had the good fortune of connecting with Dee Shields and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dee, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
The most rewarding and important lesson behind being a Podcast host and a Creator is understanding that everyone has a personal story that matters, and that we all can learn some lesson, even if a small one, from each story that we hear, from every person that we interact with; from every breaking news or viral story, a message or lesson is there.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Around 2010 I jumped on the path to branding this calling on my life with the start of my podcast on Blog Talk Radio.. With reinvention of the brands name numerous times, and a move from BTR to Spreaker which expanded the access to dozens of podcasts platforms, I have had to tap often into the gift of resilience to see the mission on towards its purpose.

Adding the accomplishments of a certification in Public Speaking, ten years of studies for a four year major in Psychology, and certification of Life Coaching, I am most proud that I managed to complete 6 self/published books of the 25 I’ve been attempting to complete!

The message I share across the globe is to always push forward, exercise patience and trust that the timing of your journey is never off and is right where it is destined to be. Live your productive you in today, as tomorrow will most certainly work itself out.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
With friends in town, we would definitely shop Park Meadows Mall, 16th Street Mall and stop by neighbor area DTC’s ‘Illegal Pete’s. A stop in my favorite dispensary ‘Health Center’ is always great for edibles tasting and just the most amazing customer service at their weekends evening staff!!

We would also drive down to view the ‘Garden of the Gods’ which is a great view and short drive from Denver.
A quiet hike up Helen Hunt Falls while in the area of Colorado Springs will make for an amazing week with my friends!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Sending love and a huge thank you to my children, my grandchildren and my fiancé. They have been the motivation, support and encouragement that I’ve needed so many times on this long journey.
