Hi Maxx, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My father help[ed propel me to start my business and chase a childhood dream, while building side by side with him.

What should our readers know about your business?
Maxx MGMT is a full service Sports Marketing and Management agency that focuses on all the off the Field/ Court dynamics of an athletes career including:

Marketing/ Endorsements
Strategic Business Ventures
Day to Day management
Public Relations/ Media/ Appearances
Digital Asset/ Merchandise Management

We are one of the only companies in our industry that truly encompasses all the above.

We are most proud of how we have handled the growth of client Trevon Diggs brand as he has become one of the hottest names in the NFL this season.. We have Trevon partnered with 7+ corporate brands and have had over 100 Million interactions on social media from different media production we have secured.

Additionally, we have had Terrell Owens launch his personal wine 81 Vino this year which has been an incredible experience..

Nothing is easy in business, but I have worked from day 1 of inception to provide my clients with the most value I possibly can and have organically been able to sign talent as we have moved forward month over month.

The most valuable lessons I have learned is having transparency, trust and communication. Getting endorsement deals done is great, but protecting your asset and the integrity of your client is one of the most important aspects of being a sports agent.

One of the the key points I would like to convey here is that I personally could have either went to work under a big agency or joined my fathers agency, but chose my own path. Being a sponge and learning as much as you can daily is such a valuable asset. As a young Owner/ President I try and always have my team give input on new ideas/ avenues/ practices we should explore.

In 4 short years, Maxx MGMT is viewed as one of the premier Marketing & Management agencies in the entire business. We have just started to hit our stride..!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take my bestfriends out to dinner at STK Steakhouse in New York and grab drinks down in the Meatpacking section of NYC..! With the world slowly opening, so much great energy in the city..

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My father Mark Lepselter has assisted/ guided me through the growth of the business. When I was deciding between going deep into the corporate agency world, my father told me to follow my childhood dream and go into my own business. I grew up in the space where my father represented top tier NFL talent. With his guidance, I followed his opinion and have now built an unbelievable strategic partnership between our companies.
