Meet Angela Garcia | Owner, Perfectly Bubbly Events

We had the good fortune of connecting with Angela Garcia and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Angela, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
My business would not be where it is today without the support I’ve received from friends and family, especially during the early days.

When I launched Perfectly Bubbly Events in November 2016 I had no idea what was in store for me. I had started my business solely on word-of-mouth referrals. My solo career began after I had volunteered to coordinate the wedding of a family friend. Shortly after, my cousin asked me to coordinate his wedding, which was my first official event. After the success of those weddings it seemed I had become the go-to person for any wedding-related questions. More referrals came in, and soon enough I had 15 weddings lined up my first full year in business.

I originally thought that I could do everything on my own- handle the consultations, assist with the planning, and coordinate and manage the event. While I could count on my husband and my mom for support, weddings are a lot of work! Some of my former brides jumped in to help me get through events, but ultimately I felt like I needed to enlist more help.

I decided to reach out to my former college professors and asked if any of their students were willing to come aboard as interns. Little did I know that I would met someone who changed my business for the better. Enter Lisa B. She’s become the other half of my brain, and is more often-than-not, one step ahead of me come wedding day. She started with us in September 2017 and has helped us coordinate over 50 successful weddings! Our team now consists of six wonderful coordinators and several artists. Several members of the team have been with Perfectly Bubbly Events since 2017.

While it’s possible to achieve great success going solo, I believe you can save yourself a lot of time and heartache by finding people who believe in your mission as much as you do. My advice- sometimes you need others to grow; both in business, and in life!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Perfectly Bubbly Events is a full service wedding planning and coordination company that specialize in creating magical moments on your Best Day Ever. Think of us as your professional best friends who hold your hand throughout the wedding planning journey.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

After arriving into San Francisco Airport, if you are not from the Bay Area you have to stop and the nearest In & Out Burger and order an Animal Style Double-Double with a Neapolitan Shake.

Take a day trip on 101-South/Highway 1 and head towards Monterrey, visit the Aquarium then head towards Carmel.

Spend 2-3 days in San Francisco visiting the historic and cultural landmarks.
