Meet Aaron Blunck | Professional Freeskier.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Aaron Blunck and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aaron, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
I am inspired by so much in this life. Some of my biggest inspirations though are just living a very healthy lifestyle. Always being outside, and always wanting to pursue bigger and better things. I just love pushing myself to the ultimate limit and always having as much fun as possible.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My career as a professional freeskier has been an absolute dream come true. When I was 6 years old all I ever wanted to do was ski professionally. From a young kid I have always believed in the fact that there is no dream to small, and no dream you can’t achieve. Before I knew it that dream came true and I was on the path to being a professional skier. Since the beginning I just loved to ski, and be outside as much as possible so as far as I could remember I was always out skiing. I am also the biggest believer in do what you love you’ll never work a day in your life and I truly feel that.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Depending on the time of year but first I am taking them to Tributary Coffee in Gunnison, CO, then off to buttes bagels in Crested butte, CO for breakfast, and then either ski bell to bell (9am-4pm) finished off by either stopping by my parents house for a little apre ski snacks beverages because they are right there at the base area and then back down to my house to do some chores and work with the horses and then wake up and possible do the same thing or instead of skiing go snowmobiling.

If it is summer time we are doing the same thing except either horseback riding, or biking.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to recognize my wife Morgan, who is straight up my rock. She keeps all the pieces together with style and grace. I’d also like that thank my mom and dad for just always being there and not just supporting me but supporting all of my friends and family.
