We had the good fortune of connecting with Adam and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Adam, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The first question I had to answer was can I make enough money to support the family. We have a large family of 9. Then I asked my self can I perform in such a way that people will be pleased with the work I do. As it turned out I could do both and the demand is there but making a name for yourself is not easy and it takes a lot of perseverance.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
AM9 Tile and Interior is all about flexibility, not only for the customer but for myself as well. I can work with all types of customers, some will want to purchase all items, some will want to demo the whole area, some are caught starting a project not able to finish. I work with them all.
It is exciting to seem different projects , ideas and areas. was stuck at the same desk for way too many years. I really enjoy getting out and relating with the customers and not being in the same place for too long.
The biggest challenge I have is marketing and to what level. I am still trying to bring the brand up in the minds of the surrounding communities, so I have been trying different methods to see which one I like best.
I believe AM9 is unique in that I want what is best for the customer whether they work with me or not. I truly want them to be informed of issues and corrections that they need to think about and consider in there projects.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I think Greeley, CO is just the right size and location. We have good entertainment spots like the Union Colony Civic center that hosts all sorts of theatrical events, music artist, comedians and fundraiser’s. The downtown area is a great atmosphere of local music, breweries and restaurants. Yet we are only 1.5hrs to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park where you could spend endless days there and not see the same thing twice. Also only an hour away from the local sports teams of Broncos, Rockies and Avalanche.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Huge shoot out to Jell Ullum now owner Front Range Interiors. He was the one that got me excited about this business. He had work that he didn’t have time to take care of and he gave me the opportunity to see what I could do. It was super hard but worth it.
