We had the good fortune of connecting with Alex Crawfurd and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alex, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wasn’t able to serve my clients to the expectations that were needed or being set/met. I wanted to set clear expectations while providing the best combination of craftsmanship and customer service.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
In construction it is not a matter if something will go wrong, it is just a matter of when. When you put your clients and your crews first, there is very little that a bit of time and money won’t fix. As a female contractor in a male dominated industry, I approach my clients, crews and projects with empathy, reason and attention to detail. I understand that you could be entrusting me with literally the roof over your head so I understand the importance of that and take my job VERY seriously.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
As a Denver native, I love to go camping, and when I saw camping what I really mean is glamping or rather travel trailer camping. I would take them on a camper trip all around the beautiful places here in Colorado. We would go up to the mountains or one of the many beautiful lakes and sip on all the Colorado brews we have to offer and feast on one of the many gastronomic treats around town.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I wouldn’t be where I am today with the love and support of my family, friends, clients and crews.
