We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexandria, Valerie, and Rosario and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alexandria, Valerie, and Rosario, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
If we could narrow down a main component in our industry that outsiders aren’t fully aware of, it would be how much effort and logistics goes into completing a final project. No matter the size or scale of the event, there are always several moving parts, which consists of several different vendors, a lot of labor, and many hours of planning to bring an event to life from scratch.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We count ourselves lucky every day that we get to create for a living. It is by far the most fun, and the most challenging part of what we do. We love bringing an event from inception to execution, and it all starts with our Designs. With each client that we work with , we are able to create something custom and personal.
The challenge we come across most frequently is to remain creative within budget confinements. There are times where we have ideas that a clients budget will simply not allot for. At times, this will force you to be even more creative, since this industry is all about problem- solving. We pride ourselves in delivering excellent experience to every client, no matter the budget.
What sets us apart, and what continues to help us grow is our brand development and our internal process. We invest a lot of time into our systems and processes to ensure that our clients overall experience is engaging, professional and aesthetically pleasing. We also market and develop our brand through Social Media with the same intention. Our Brand is always evolving, and we attract our ideal clients by sharing our personality and our aesthetic.
Some Key lessons we have learned are to outsource work, price accurately and do not be afraid to pivot. Your brand and client base should always be growing. In order to do this, you can not be afraid to be innovative and try new things. The most important lesson that we have learned, and what has most contributed to our success is consistency. No matter what, just keep going. Through consistency we have been able to create. We design custom, classic, and colorful events, and we love what we do.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The most fun thing when visiting a city is to experience the food, drinks, and vibe of the locals. We would start off by visiting our favorite local brunch spot, called Hatch 44 in Metuchen. They have the cutest aesthetic and the food is even better. After that we would take a walk through Metuchen where they have endless shops and spots to visit. We would end the day with dinner at Lola’s Bistro in Metuchen, they have the best Latin comfort food , and a moody and intimate atmosphere to match.
The next day if weather permitted, we would take them to the Beach. Jersey has an array of beaches and boardwalks to choose from. We would follow up by grabbing lunch at a nearby restaurant and grabbing drinks in Asbury Park.
In the following days we would take them for some dinner and dancing at the Rooftop at the Bradford in Somerset. The next morning we would take them to a local Diner called Tops Diner, which is one of the best diners in New Jersey. Jersey is known for their local diners.
There are many more local spots that we could go to, but these are the first stops we would take a close friend to.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would like to dedicate our shoutout to our Families. From the inception of our company, our family and close friends have been our number one supporters and cheerleaders. They have also been some of our first clients. We understand that for many entrepreneurs this level of support is not always the case. We do not take the support of our loved ones for granted. The constant encouragement and love we receive , makes our journey much smoother.
