We had the good fortune of connecting with Ali Wagstaff and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ali, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that it really is a journey and to remember to enjoy the process. It’s really easy to look ahead at the big goals and to not feel satisfied until you reach them. That mindset can create motivation but it can also create unhappiness. When you show up every day and just do your best, while also enjoying yourself, that’s when the magic happens. Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
To tell you more about my business I have to tell you a little more about me first. My name is Ali and I am a double board certified Nurse Practitioner (NP). I own Elite Medical & Aesthetics here in S. Denver and we offer a full menu of aesthetic procedures including: Botox, fillers, laser, microneedling, facials, peels and more. My background is in hospital/critical care medicine and I’m also an artist. I got into aesthetics to blend my love for art and science. I have a holistic approach and look at the whole person when talking aesthetics. Sometimes we have to address diet, habits or self care before even doing a procedure. The culture at Elite is all about empowering people to look and feel their best inside and out. We take our craft seriously and it makes our day to be able to see the transformations and confidence that comes with what we do.Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love Denver, Colorado but ultimately I’m a mountain girl and we would definitely prioritize taking a trip to the mountains. To start though I would have to take my BFF out to some great meals here in South Denver. Some of my favorite spots are: India’s Kitchen II, Haveli Indian, Pho 95, Los Dos Potrillos and At Nine Thai. A bike ride through Highlands Ranch and Lone Tree trails would be on the agenda. Then we would take off to the mountains and make our way to Glenwood Springs for the caverns and hot springs.Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Big shout out to Jen Sincero who wrote the book, “You are a Badass” I think I’ve read it or listened to it on Audible about 10 times during the last few years in business. Anytime I feel down or like I’m not doing well enough I listen to that to get all pumped up again. Highly recommend. Also a big thanks to my husband, Kevin, who has been my biggest supporter and advisor in business.
