Meet Alicia Wolfe

We had the good fortune of connecting with Alicia Wolfe and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alicia, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
My creative journey has never been about choosing one medium, it’s about following where I feel led. Photography, especially, feels like a gift that allows me to document beauty, emotion, and truth. Whether I’m making jewelry or working on a visual concept, each form of art plays a role in how I live out my purpose, but photography has been one of the most consistent ways I connect with others and with myself.
For a while, I tried to fit into the traditional 9–5 path, but it never felt fulfilling. There was always this quiet voice inside me that kept saying, “This isn’t where you’re meant to be.” I would leave work feeling drained instead of inspired. Choosing a creative path wasn’t just about following a passion, it was about listening to that inner voice and honoring the part of myself that feels most alive when I’m making something meaningful.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is deeply personal and ever evolving, but at its core, it’s about expression, healing, and connection. As a photographer, I’m constantly driven by the desire to capture not just what people look like, but who they are and how they feel. I love creating work that tells a story, whether it’s through conceptual, lifestyle, or branding photography. What sets me apart is my commitment to storytelling in every shoot, and my ability to make each image feel intimate and meaningful.
Alongside my photography, I embrace jewelry-making as another form of self-expression. While these are different mediums, they both allow me to tap into the depths of my soul. Jewelry-making, especially, has been a journey of learning to shape raw materials into meaningful pieces, each full of love and intention.
Getting to where I am today hasn’t been easy. There have been many moments of self-doubt, questioning whether I was on the right path, and wondering if I could make a living doing something so personal. But those challenges have shaped me into the artist I am now. I’ve learned that perseverance is key and that failure is a part of the journey, not something to fear, but something to learn from. The most important lesson I’ve learned is that it’s okay to take your time and trust the process, even when it doesn’t look like success right away. It’s also essential to surround yourself with people who believe in you, especially during tough times.
My work today is a reflection of my story, my heritage, and my belief that creativity can heal and connect us all. I want the world to know that my brand is about more than just pretty images or unique jewelry, it’s about authenticity, vulnerability, and embracing the journey of becoming the best version of yourself. Every piece I create, whether it’s a photograph or a jewelry design, is a reminder that we all have a story to tell, and we are all worthy of being seen and heard.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
To give my friend the full Colorado experience, I’d love to take them for a hike in the mountains or wander through the Denver Botanical Gardens to take in the beauty of nature. I’d also plan a night to catch a show at Red Rocks or The Fillmore, for some live music in an unforgettable setting. We’d also go to some local pop-up markets to find unique art within the community, and for food, we’d definitely try out a local food truck for some good authentic street tacos.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a shoutout to my family, with a special acknowledgement to my parents. Their endless love, support, and belief in me have meant everything throughout my journey. They’ve always encouraged me to follow my dreams, even when I wasn’t sure of the path ahead. I wouldn’t be here without their unwavering support, and I’m forever grateful for them.
I’d also love to shout out to my boyfriend, Nico, who’s been a constant source of support and inspiration. His encouragement has helped me push through tough moments, allowing me to trust in my creativity and pursue my dreams fearlessly. His belief in me fuels my passion, and I’m incredibly grateful for him and the way he pushes me to be my best self.
Lastly, I’m thankful for the community of artists I’ve connected with. Their support and encouragement have shown me the power of community and reminded me of the joy that comes from creating together. Each connection, collaboration, and shared moment of creativity has pushed me to grow, and I’m honored to be part of a community who continues to inspire and uplift me.
