Meet Allie Whitworth | Owner & Designer of Homey by Allie, Realtor- Compass Real Estate, Mile High Lifestyles

We had the good fortune of connecting with Allie Whitworth and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Allie, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I think my success thus far is attributed mostly to my purpose. I’ve made alignment a goal of mine- and I’m talking alignment with my truth, who I surround myself with, the goals I’m chasing. It all has to add up. I started noticing success, and repeated success, when I made my purpose my driving force in all that I do. People notice that, and it attracts those who are likeminded, and those who want to support you. When your purpose is aligned with your every move, you can’t lose. Success will follow naturally.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’ve been in Real Estate since 2013, and have worked for two different brokerages and a new home builder. So much experience in different realms and areas. After the loss of my husband in 2019, I was at a pivotal moment where I needed to re-build, support 3 children, and ultimately go in a direction where I could uncover my passion and purpose. That’s when Homey was created. I’d always dreamt of building a brand and a business where my love of Real Estate, interior design, and creativity could coincide. Homey is that for me. I am a Realtor and interior designer. I offer everything from home design to styling and staging, holiday decor, and now merging into other areas too with a business partner. We have some exciting things in the works, and I can’t wait to see the vision of Homey continue to come to life. This journey was anything but easy, but so incredibly rewarding. It’s been a labor of love and healing, and I think what sets Homey apart is the fact that it’s been made with purpose and intention, and a part of a bigger story.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Oh, what a question! I love spontaneity, and adventure, so I would probably be all over. Daniels Park is a happy place for me. Sunrises, sunsets, the views are some of the best. Sierra in Lone Tree is a good lunch or Happy Hour spot outside of the city. You can find me there almost weekly. Try their Maverick cocktail and you can thank me later. Halcyon in Cherry Creek is my favorite staycation spot, and they have a cool Speakeasy that you’ll have to get an invite to. Perdida on Gaylord is such a vibe, especially during nicer weather for drinks and dinner. I don’t go downtown often, but a scooter experience hopping around between there and RiNo is a good time.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Through loss and life over the recent years, there have been people who have impacted my life in more ways than one. I truly believe I would not be who I am, and where I am without them. One of my best friends is now a key supporter and partner in business, and it’s been a relationship that’s empowered me to make the moves I did to get where I am now. Emotionally, mentally, in many aspects. My closest people are everything to me, and I have so much gratitude for the ways they’ve helped me grow, supported me through my darkest, and saw me through to the other side.
My faith, books, therapy in all forms. I attribute most of my healing and success to these things collectively.
