We had the good fortune of connecting with Amber Cronin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amber, do you disagree with some advice that is more or less universally accepted?
I disagree with the idea that everyone is your competition. I believe each business, creator, or human has something unique to offer. And on top of that I believe that not every person is your ideal customer. Since we live in the age of there is something for everyone finding your niche is key. Making sure you are being specific about what your ideal client looks like and to not be so broad in your marketing. I’m not afraid to alienate specific groups of people to reach that client either! Competition is what you make it and for me I think we all create a community and should see our differences as strengths 🙂

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
We are a bakery that started as a food truck and then grew into our Brick and Mortar Location. We offer unique flavors and make all of our treats with organic and locally sourced ingredients. I’m proud of how far we have come and have overcome a lot of hurdles to get here 🙂 We have learned that whatever we put our minds to we can achieve with a little hard work and dedication.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We are located in the Sweet Heart City, Loveland Colorado, in Northern Colorado. Places I would take them below! Best Clothing Boutique: Vintage Willows, Downtown Loveland Best Restaurant: Chimney Park, Downtown Windsor Best Beauty Salon: Blush Beauty Bar, Downtown Loveland Best Men’s Barber: Tommy’s Barber & Blades, Downtown Loveland Best Event Venue: The Gressiwick, Downtown Loveland I would take them into the mountains for a drive, or head up to Estes Park to get away for the day. Just enjoying all the beauty of our area would be a priority 🙂

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I couldn’t run this business without my sister, and amazing baker, Andrea. Our parents are also a big part of how we have arrived at this point. We are a family owned and operated business and we never let each other down 🙂
