We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrea Clem and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andrea, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
I strongly believe that work life balance is critical to my overall happiness and the way that I approach life. In 2020 I left my career as a CFO, where I was working 60 hour weeks, feeling extremely stressed, burnt out, and like I was an awful mother. Having two younger boys, I realized that I would never get this time back with them, and decided it was what I needed to do for all of us. I was unsure of my next steps, but felt strongly that the universe will provide, and if I choose to follow my heart, all will be ok.

I am happy to say that my relationship with my boys is much stronger, and I love that I am able to be there whenever they need me, with a much clearer and relaxed mindset than before. I believe that I am showing them that it is ok to follow a different path than what mainstream says leads to success, and that family and overall health and happiness is much more important that the non-stop grind to earn as much money as possible.

Also, I couldn’t be happier now – through The Way Home To You, I am blessed to hold space for individuals and walk with them as they go through their spiritual healing journey. I feel like I am making a difference in the world now.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As I mentioned, I left my career in 2020 as a CFO, I had been doing accounting for over 20 years, but I knew there was something more for me to do. I had been on my own personal spiritual journey since 2017, and decided to really dive head first after leaving my corporate job. I attended multiple weeklong meditation retreats, immersing myself in activities such as breathwork, EFT (tapping), and receiving healings through modalities such as reiki, cranial sacral, and sound. I then decided I wanted to do something in this realm to work with others on their own spiritual healing journey.

I first trained to become a Conscious Parenting Method Coach under Dr. Shefali Tsbary, which helped me tremendously with my own relationship with my boys and to see life in a different manner. From there I studied to become a Certified Sound Healer, and then completed my training and attunements to become a Reiki Master/Teacher. Last year I trained to become an AromaTouch Technique Practitioner as well, and added that into my services. In 2024 I have launched an Energetic Coaching program which allows a space to have an open dialogue to discuss what it means to connect to our most Powerful Divine Self while providing various techniques, tools and resources to empower an individual to take charge of of their energy.

I started The Way Home To You as a way to help as many people as possible on their spiritual/healing path and to spread love in the world. I believe we are each an individualized expression of the Divine and that we harness powers beyond what we can believe, and have the ability to heal ourselves on all levels. Everything we need is inside of us, and through years (decades, centuries) of conditioning, we have forgot these powers, and our true connection with the Divine. By allowing a safe, non-judgmental and loving place for clients to BE, I hope to assist them in their own transformation, and help them remember their own highest truth

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Colorado is such a beautiful place to be (I am a Colorado native, so I may be a little biased!). I would take them around the state to see places such as Red Rocks, maybe catching a concert or at least walking around the amphitheater and the park. We’d go on a hike at Lookout Mountain or maybe White Ranch Park. I’d take them to Glenwood Springs, which is my favorite mountain town, and check out Estes Park as well to see the elk. In the city we’d eat at my favorite Mexican food place, Las Delicious, check out the Denver Botanical Gardens and the Museum of Illusions. Last, we’d go to Casa Bonita!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My teacher, mentor, and office-mate Dana Suazo of One Thread Healing has been encouraging throughout my journey, and was pivotal in my decision to start The Way Home To You, and its growth and success. She is an amazing healer and intuitive, as well as a teacher. I am so lucky to have her support, but more importantly, her friendship.
