Meet Andrew Dvorscak | Coffee Roaster

We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrew Dvorscak and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Andrew, can you tell us about a book that has had a meaningful impact on you?
A book I’ve read recently that was really useful was “The Introvert Entrepreneur” by Beth Buelow. It is filled with useful ways to lean into your introverted personality traits to help you with your business.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
After being laid off from my marketing job in the summer of 2020, I was encouraged by my former manager to pursue an idea I had in an industry I had no experience in, coffee. I was able to find a great support in the coffee roasting world, and I was able to learn how to roast and then use my marketing background to build a brand and a website. We came up with the name Rainbow City Coffee because we believe coffee is something that can connect seemingly different people. It is not only able to connect neighbors and friends, but also people on different sides of the world.
After working to develop an e-commerce and retail presence, we’ve now built a small coffee cart that we set up at Sloan’s Lake on the weekends where we sell cups of coffee.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For coffee, I would have to take them to either Sweet Bloom or Allegro. One of our favorite pizza places is Tony P’s in Highlands.
If they’re in the mood for sushi go to Rocky Yama.
If they are into art, skip the Denver Art Museum and go to the MCA.
One my favorite hikes within 15-20 minutes of Denver is Apex Park in Golden.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d first need to thank my parents for providing me with all the opportunities I’ve had in my life and for instilling their work ethics on me. I’d also need to thank my wife for all the support she’s given and for helping move our business forward.
