Meet Angela Perry | Singer/songwriter, Recording Artist, Performer and Teacher

We had the good fortune of connecting with Angela Perry and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Angela, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
There isn’t a straight answer to this question because failure isn’t a reason to give up. Failure is just one of the ways we learn and grow. We fail constantly in our daily lives and sometimes repeat it until we finally figure it out. We just have to refine and improve the process so that failure turns into success. One must also realize that true success is hard. The grit of doing the work is tedious, time-consuming, and just hard.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a singer/songwriter, recording artist, and performer. In 2023-2024, I toured 15 states and performed in 240+ venues/festivals. I am releasing new music this year. I also teach music, whether it be private lessons, workshops, or in class. I am excited about creating music and performing for others. I perform in all venues for the young and old. Music is the one avenue that touches all people, young, old, healthy, sick. etc. and I want to bring the accessibliity of music to all people. My brand is all about music and daring yourself to be yourself.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
