We had the good fortune of connecting with Anthony Joshua Paul Trujillo A.K.A (Angel Of Light) and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anthony, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
It’s not about giving up it’s about the work ethic that I put into seeking my dreams. Much like my brother said once you get your foot in the door you don’t stop it’s all uphill from there. The moral to the story is once you start something you must not get discouraged or you lose focus of your drive to your dreams. You must set sail say your grace and keep your mind in a good state.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
When I first started I used to make beats on fruity loops around 2016 and started to explore my areas in music to be inspired and progress. I want to say I started writing in early 2010 but didn’t take it serious because I needed a career to fallback on. I started Automotive to learn about vehicles on how they worked. Music wasn’t necessary the first thing on my mind it was about surviving and paying my bills. It never occurred to me that I can demonstrate my emotions in my songs and use it as therapy I never let my ADD and my speech problems define me. It was almost invigorating because it was challenging to create a song. My cousin Armenio Loved making everyone rap and put me on Divine infinite CALiBER February 03, 2022 release, my debuted song was VANDETTA Track #16. I’m on Several songs through Divine infinite a Unity Infinite presentation. Them were the very first time I actually recorded my vocals. I think what sets me apart from the crowd is that I’m genuinely a very moral person I have my faith i’m a responsible artist I’m not a thug or a gangster my head on my shoulders allows me to go through trials and tribulations and avoid negative situations I go to work and make music with my cousin and spend time with family. I’m most proud about releasing an EP called YiN and YANG in October. That’s 4 songs, this will be my release debut through Unity Infinite. There was a lot of trail and error I didn’t have the right tools or direction, much like not having more time to support me. I have noticed that if you want dreams to happen you need help, a coalition a team and some motivation. When I saw my cousin making music it was inspiring there ain’t nothing like a vision shared with by family we are close a bridge I’ll never burn now I’m on the roster now it’s write on and make songs. When we record it was from anywhere in the house a studio on our phones and an Apoge hype mic it was very hard to express myself and get the words out of my head. My cousin pushed me and had the patients to let me figure out this trait I wield. Day in and day out sometimes I would go through a drought and just couldn’t pronounce the words and read what I wrote down in order to make it lyrical and correlate to the song. Lesson learned I just have to remain calm use composure. It takes time it don’t come over night, it’s years in the making I’m proud of what I can do. I grew up with my auntie and uncle around 9 years old my oldest brother took the wrong route of gangs and violence at the age of 18 and he is now 30. I didn’t live the life of a perfect house hold, parents aren’t together it was split and the come up was tough. Unity Infinite collaborates all around the world they have a roster of talented artist who are aspiring on the great journey. I’m spreading the word about Trackd social music platform where artist can get paid fairly it’s much like only fans it allows you to monetize your songs for a subscription price, a UK based platform, parent company Trident studios. I want to let the world know that a man with mental disabilities and learning problems straight out of Pueblo Colorado can overcome boundaries and just believe in what you do because In the end it pays off.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I let me tell you about my city Pueblo Colorado home of the hero’s a small town with few attractions but nature friendly, a very beautiful river walk where is best visited in the summer. I would recommend Angelo’s Pizza parlor for some good food to fill you up a deep dish meat lovers special. I’m a nature person who loves fishing and heading out to the mountains to hunt. Sometimes I get ballsy and gamble in cripple creek where food is cheap and there is deals for your stay, much like a mini Vegas not as congested. I’m a family man I love to apply myself with positive folk who are chill I don’t like conflict or problems, there is nothing like an active lifestyle and just breath in the fresh air. When I subtract myself from reality I’m gaming nonstop and creating tik toks for my spare time here in Pueblo Colorado.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to dedicate my success and pursuit of making music and doing exactly what I love while also making some funds to Unity Infinite founded in 2020 by family, friends, and loved ones. While considering those who help to contribute to the vision. Antonio Armenio Trujillo my cousin he has featured me on 3 albums a few videos and introduced me to Trackd social music platform. Another shoutout would be my uncle Droop Dog, Uncle Paul Trujillo, my brother Angelo Trujillo, and Alfonso Trujillo. Last but not least the lord and savior for this journey.
