We had the good fortune of connecting with Antoinette Yarrow and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Let’s talk about my soul’s work. I am a Clinical Herbalist, Sexual Empowerment Guide and Self Love Coach. Life has served me many challenges such as being bullied while growing up while going to a private Catholic school, experiencing sexual trauma and even experiencing my house burning the Marshal Fire in Colorado. Being bullied affected my confidence and my self love was very low. I didn’t feel supported. This trauma has affected me while growing up as it has affected me attracting good men and also feeling confident putting myself out there. It was not easy. I have overcome my challenges through using the flower essences of some plants like rose and hawthorn to help me open up to self love and forgive others even though it was very challenging. I also give love to my little girl who didn’t receive it when I was growing up. I use herbs to calm and ground me like Reishi, Skullcap and Lemonbalm. Being in nature has deepened my connected to Divine Feminine as I feel this unconditional love that a person can’t give me. The world needs to know that nature is medicine. If we can heal our traumas, connect to nature and use herbs to heal, the world will be in a much much different place!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I moved to Carbondale, Colorado not too long ago. I would take them SUPing at Beaver Lake in Marble and go to Slow Grooving BBQ as the food is healthy and delicious. We go to 13 Moons Ranch for ecstatic dance and to 3rd Street Community Center to see what cool events are happening. We would also soak in the hot springs at Avalanche Ranch for the afternoon and head to Redstone Inn for dinner and walk the town.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My husband Isaac has been amazing in my life. He helped me tremendously when I was healing my sexual trauma. He has been my rock, has an amazing heart and is so open to personal growth. He is a good man. I love him dearly!
