We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Brauer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, how do you think about risk?
Risk can be used as a great motivator! For me, the fear of failing is what kept me going. We moved to Denver in the middle of the pandemic, not knowing anyone. The only way to build my business/clientele was to set my sights on the end goal, & keep hustling till I got there!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a hair extension & blond-ing specialist! I have always enjoyed doing hair, but have loved finding what I specialize in & finding my niche within the industry. Providing a personalized experience & customized outcome for each client is what I love & where I thrive!

It’s taken countless hours of educations, late nights & plenty of mistakes along the way, but I feel more fulfilled & confident than ever in my career as a hairstylist!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would probably take them someplace that we could both explore! Somewhere in the mountains where we could go on a quick hike & sit to take in the views!

As far as going out, I’d take them to RhiNo or Lohi! Or anywhere that has a good Margarita & fun music! We have fun everywhere we go, so it doesn’t take much for us to have a good time!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband. He trusted me with my crazy vision” when I was wanting to dive in feet first & has been the biggest hype man ever since. Love you, babe!

Secondly, Caitlin Friend! She basically took in & befriended me as a complete stranger. She matches my crazy & has turned out to be the absolute best business partner & friend! It’s been such a fun ride!
