We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Morris and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
I would have to say the most important lesson I have learned from AshleyLuvsToEat is that life is not that serious! I think so many “influencers” take social media so seriously when in reality, it really is just a place to have fun and express yourself. The content that I make where I am just being myself and acting ridiculous is what always performs the best. Of course there are times in life to take things seriously. but personally I have learned to prioritize enjoying myself along the way.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am from New Jersey and if you know me, I will make sure that you know about it. When I first moved to Colorado I was shocked at how spoiled I was on the East Coast when it came to food! It took me 3 years but I have finally found amazing pizza and bagels that live up to the NJ standard. My foodie account is different from others because I show myself and my personality along with food and local businesses. I also live in Loveland, which is about an hour North of Denver, meaning that there is not as much variety as Denver has. I do make the trip to Denver often but I have been able to find amazing places up North that I feel like the world needs to know about.

A tagline that I always use is “there is more to Colorado than just Denver”, I love spreading awareness to great food and businesses that are located more North!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
This is my favorite question because I love making itineraries!! After picking up my friend at the airport we would stop at In-N-Out (all of my friends live on the east coast and there are no In-N-Outs there!) Some other must stop places to eat would be Urban Field Pizza & Market and Rosalee’s in Longmont, they are the best pizza places in Colorado. While in Longmont we would also hop around to the breweries and distilleries downtown, there are so many great options so close together! Of course we would have to head to Denver for bottomless brunch and then just hop around to show off the city. But if we were to stay in Loveland, Rosie’s barber shop has a very cool cocktail bar/speak easy vibe and The Social in Fort Collins is probably my favorite cocktail bar in Colorado!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to shout out my followers that support me and genuinely enjoy my content. I have created an amazing community online where people are actually invested in my life, which is something that I will probably never get used to, but I am able to talk to my followers like they are my friends and I love that. I am an open book in person and online but I have also gained the trust from my followers which is so cool to me.

I also would love to shout out my boyfriend for being my favorite person to eat with and always supporting me no matter what.
