We had the good fortune of connecting with Ayesha Arobee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ayesha, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I think risks are very intriguing. I have taken a lot of risks throughout my entire life and almost all of them have worked in my favor. From starting to studying at a boarding school in India from the age of 4 to working when I was in 9th grade to getting more jobs, to starting my blog as a passion project to coming to America for my masters. More than half of my entire life has been on risk-taking and it has worked out fantastically considering they were not “lets wing it” they were more of “if I do this this will be achieve-able”.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is my food and lifestyle blog – @foodstgram_kansas. How I started this blog on all social media platforms out of passion and not money is what sets me apart from others. I am most proud of myself for having such parents who have given me a lifetime of lessons regarding food and lifestyle from around the world which is how I developed this passion for food and started my blog. It was not easy but it was challenging and I loved it. I overcame the challenges by “learning as your grow”. The biggest lesson I’ve learnt in blogging and through the blogging industry is that consistency is key and way over perfection and no one is your friend.

I want the world to know that this blog represents my passion and love that I have for food. Coming from a household where my mom is the best cook and highly knowledgeable about food and my dad being a huge food and travel enthusiast its only fitting that I had to take this passion then and side-hustle now to the next level.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If we talk about Colorado Springs it is a gem of a city to visit for anyone who is adventure seeking. I would make them visit pikes peak, garden of gods, seven falls and red rock canyon. I would make them visit Manitou springs and eat at babu’s kitchen for some Nepali and Indian cuisine food. I would take them to old Colorado district and make them visit the local boutiques and also eat at C.O.A.T.I . I would also make them hike and camp at eleven mile canyon, that is a must.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
With the grace of the almighty my mom (mamoni) and dad (baba) deserve the biggest shoutouts I can possibly give for giving me this life and for making the way.
