We had the good fortune of connecting with Beth Jauquet and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Beth, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success and the success of my brand, Primalized, is authenticity. I am genuinely interested in the happiness of my clients and it shows in my work. A phrase that I believe is, “people don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care”. Primalized was created out of the expression of my authentic self, which is a person who values community and the total wellness of its members.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I became a Registered Dietitian in 2002 and began working in the industry soon after, specializing in weight management and sports nutrition. During my first 15 years of practice, I had the opportunity to work for Cherry Creek Nutrition, a fantastic private practice owned by Suzanne Farrell, MS, RDN. Suzanne helped me to develop my counseling skills as well as encouraged me to pursue other aspects of the industry including media work. In 2016 I left the practice to help care for my Dad who was suffering from Alzheimer’s. After he passed, I was having difficulty finding direction. It was at this time that I was fortunate to meet my partner, fellow wellness advocate and psychedelic facilitator, Richard Myers, LMT, CPT. One of the many things we had in common, was a desire to create a wellness community that prioritizes joy and connection. Despite many challenges, we committed to making our dream a reality by creating Primalized, a wellness community, designed to support the pursuit of health. Our unique services, including psychedelic counseling, wellness coaching, functional training, equine support, and massage therapy are all ancient medicines used to create modern wellness. I’ve learned many lessons so far on this journey, but the most important is that this life is all about connection and the relationships we create along the way.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Colorado has so much to offer. While I love my space in Castle Rock, a week long trip could not be limited to just one city. However, in Castle Rock, we would most certainly explore downtown, get a coffee at Crowfoot Valley Coffee, and pastry at No Cow Bakery, go for a hike at Phillip Miller park and have dinner at Union American Bistro. We would experience the beauty of nature at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs and Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park. We would enjoy some amazing food in Denver at any of the Edible Beats restaurants. Finally we would enjoy as much time as possible just hanging out on the farm!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to recognize my partner (in business and life), Richard Myers, for encouraging me to embrace my authentic self and helping to create Primalized and this amazing life that we’re cultivating.
