Hi Bethany, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
As a digital creator specializing in storyboards, faith-based marketing, and selling digital goods, I firmly believe that investment is the single most critical factor in achieving success. Investing wisely is pivotal to achieving one’s goals. Looking back, I wish I had invested in digital goods such as customizable apparel, self-publishing, and songwriting through platforms like Your Song Maker by David Hawkins when I first started my education at 18. Furthermore, I strongly believe that success begins with investment because branding and self-identification have enabled me to discover my career aspirations, such as digital marketing. By investing in my craft, I have gained valuable insights into my strengths and weaknesses, which is essential for individuals who are undecided about their major. Often, one may pursue a lucrative career path, only to find it unfulfilling, or, like me, change their major altogether.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I commenced my writing journey in a composition book/ text message relay and subsequently transitioned to professional writing. Having completed college English coursework and possessing a lifelong passion for poetry, I leveraged my artistic background to cultivate my craft

My artistic development has been influenced by my involvement in church, community service, and academic pursuits. Notably, my experience playing the B-flat clarinet from sixth-grade band to college orchestra honed my musical ear. Additionally, my participation in church, school, and community choirs during adolescence and early adulthood further refined my artistic sensibilities. Presently, I create and share my work online. Professionally, I attribute my success to strategic investment and networking. By embracing opportunities and persevering through challenges, I have established a formidable brand. Patience and persistence are essential in building a successful brand, as one never knows which opportunity may yield success. My journey has not been without obstacles, including time management and organizational constraints. To overcome these challenges, I utilize a planner and set reminders across multiple calendars. Key takeaways from my experiences include the importance of continuous progress, writing to one’s future self, and investing in personal growth.

My name is Poetess Bethany Camille James and I grew up in the suburbs of Denver, Colorado in a family of six including me. However, I was born in Clearwater, Florida. Life was bittersweet. The geography inspired me, yet I felt as I was growing up different, and I seem to stand out like the vast Rocky Mountains. As I got older I would find my connection to the world through reciting poetry, and extracurricular activities in school and the community. It was demanding being active and helpful.

Morning
16th Street Mall is an ideal location for shopping, dining, and entertainment in Denver. Established in 1982, this 1.7-mile pedestrianized promenade features over 300 stores, restaurants, and bars. A complimentary shuttle bus service facilitates navigation from one end to the other.
Afternoon
The Denver Botanic Gardens, situated in the Cheesman Park neighborhood, is a 23-acre public botanical garden. The gardens boast a conservatory, various themed gardens, and a sunken amphitheater that hosts summer concerts.
Evening
Elitch Gardens, an amusement park in Denver, Colorado, is slated for relocation to accommodate a mixed-use development. According to the Denver Gazette, the park may be relocated to Aurora. Revesco Properties, co-owner of the park, is seeking a new location within the Denver metropolitan area. Elitch Gardens is a premier destination in Colorado, offering thrilling rides, entertaining shows, and refreshing water slides. Currently, the park is temporarily closed and will be relocating to Aurora. Notably, I have personal experience working at Elitch Gardens in the water park as a tube taker during my teenage years. Also, I was a ticket taker and season pass maker.

The Denver Zoo is a top attraction, featuring a diverse array of animals from around the world, including African lions, Siberian tigers, and Asian elephants.
Afternoon
Cherry Creek Shopping Center offers a luxurious shopping experience, with prestigious brands such as Macy’s, Nordstrom, and Neiman Marcus, as well as a collection of luxury boutiques.
Day 3
Morning
Coors Field, a baseball stadium, provides scenic views of the Denver skyline and a unique atmosphere due to its high-altitude location.
Afternoon
Union Station, a historic transportation hub, offers a mix of dining and shopping opportunities in the heart of Lower Downtown.
Explore the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver, a dedicated space showcasing contemporary art, although some visitors may find the museum’s size smaller than expected.

I want to thank them for the efforts of making my song words called Wedding Night (spoken word) from my book The Big Game Poetry Collection into a custom song. My song is called The Big Game Collection-Wedding Night by Bethany James. They are ultra professional and make songs for occasions. My song was made to be my future tense wedding vows. I am single, but I thought it would be empowering to make. They deserve recognition.
