Meet Brandon Bailey

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon Bailey and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brandon, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I didn’t start my business with the intention of “being an entrepreneur.” It came from a gap I kept seeing over and over. As a pitching coach, I noticed that a lot of athletes were working extremely hard but didn’t truly understand why they were doing certain drills, throwing programs, or training methods. There was a disconnect between effort and understanding.
I wanted to build something that helped athletes take ownership of their development — not just follow instructions, but actually learn how their body works, how their pitches move, and how to prepare like a professional. What started as helping a few athletes remotely turned into a structured business because the demand was there and the impact was real. I built it slowly, intentionally, and alongside my full-time coaching career.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My career has been built through a combination of curiosity, consistency, and a willingness to learn from every level of the game. I started out like many coaches do — passionate about baseball, eager to help, and hungry to improve. Over time, I realized that what truly sets me apart is not just what I know, but how I communicate and apply it.
I’ve been fortunate to work in professional baseball, where attention to detail, preparation, and accountability matter at the highest level. Being around elite athletes and coaches pushed me to sharpen my understanding of biomechanics, pitch design, constrain led approach, and long-term athlete development. At the same time, I saw how overwhelming and confusing training could be for young athletes trying to navigate social media advice, conflicting instruction, and pressure to perform.
That gap is what led me to build my own brand and business alongside my coaching career. I wanted to create something that emphasized education, clarity, and trust — helping athletes understand why they train the way they do, not just what to do. I’m most proud of the relationships I’ve built and the moments where athletes gain confidence in themselves.
Getting to where I am today was not easy. There were plenty of long hours, self-doubt, financial uncertainty, and moments where progress felt slow.
The biggest lessons I’ve learned are that consistency beats intensity, humility accelerates learning, and trust takes time to earn.
What I want the world to know about me and my brand is simple: I’m committed to helping athletes develop sustainably, confidently, and intelligently. I believe in long-term growth over quick fixes, education over hype, and relationships over transactions. My story is still being written, but I’m proud of the foundation it’s built on and excited about where it’s going.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If a close friend were visiting Phoenix, I’d want them to experience the city the way locals do — a mix of baseball, outdoors, and classic Arizona culture. We’d start at Camelback Ranch, especially during spring training, then spend evenings in Scottsdale with live music and great food at a place like Handlebar J’s. A morning exploring Papago Park would be a must — it’s one of the best ways to take in the desert landscape.
For a true Arizona experience, I’d take them up to Cave Creek for a night at Buffalo Chip, which is always a good time with live music and bull riding. We’d also spend time at Christ’s Church of the Valley – Peoria Campus, which reflects the strong sense of community I value here.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
