Meet Brandon Rutherford | Model and Recording Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon Rutherford and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brandon, how do you think about risk?
I love risk taking, it has made me exactly for who I am today. I have taken risks that nobody will rarely take. I wanted to get results that no one else was. It has played a big role due to the fact of the people that I have met, the connections I have built, the places that I’ve been, and the doors that I have opened. Risking everything for my life and everything that I have obtained came exactly from me taking a risk. Up and moving to New York without ever being there, moving to LA when I never been there, up and moving to Dallas and Houston and Atlanta, without ever being there, without knowing anyone, and all by myself. Investing and going out on the streets and hitting the pavement. All that to be said, I love taking risks. Bigger the risk bigger the reward!!!!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The art that I create is music and modeling.. Number one God created me very differently and Unique aside from everybody else. I am most excited on my past experiences to be able to give me the words to write the songs my past experiences gives me the motivation and confidence to walk down the lane and being a confident model. It was definitely not easy. Being on this journey is quite lonely, a lot of investing, a lot of lessons and mistakes, and overcoming all those challenges. I have lost everything multiple times to not only reobtain it but also gain even more than I had before which allows me to be ahead of the curve. Lessons I’ve learned along the way is to make sure everything is in writing, not to trust anyone’s word, to do your own due diligence before making a decision, being prepared for the opportunity at hand, then lead by example. I want the world to know about my brand and my story is I came from the mud I came from absolutely no father barely a mother and been on my own since I was 17 kicked out for different high schools for different states and I keep on going no matter what has been thrown at me in life. My brand is that everything that I do that I deliver is top tier quality. I’m a perfectionist and everything that I do and I will drive myself insane until I obtain my satisfaction of perfection. Nothin less!!!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
So being in Denver Colorado is a nature state so first and far most I would take him or her out to the mountains in Estes Park show him Bear Lake show all the amenities that SS Park offers as far as the chocolate factory the leather goods the minerals the gems that taffy go water rides goat cardting fishing camping. I would like to hang out at temple and have a good night. I love to eat healthy so nothing better than a filet mignon with shrimp or lobster or potatoes at a high-end restaurant. The most exciting places I’ve been to in Denver is Meow wolf and Temple the night club.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The best book that ever motivated me is “How to win the game” by Mark Cuban. It showed me that even when he started his own business and lost everything, he kept going. He lost it all again to soon become the owner of the Dallas Maverick’s from taking a risk. His drive and ambition and risk taking is the key to his success!!!
