Meet Breanna Diaz | Co-Owner of Easy Breezy Plumbing & Apprentice plumber

We had the good fortune of connecting with Breanna Diaz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Breanna, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Work life balance is a tough one when you are a business owner because work is your life. There are lots of ways my life has been incorporated into my work and my life is the purpose behind my work. Balance takes place with boundaries. Since my business partner is also my dad and the administrative assistant is actually my sister we have had to put boundaries in place. We also have to separate out designated family time that we do not talk about work unless an emergency. We have always valued family and that it becomes first before anything. The purpose behind my dad and myself starting the business was in order to create a legacy for our children to be able to serve the community and uphold the dying craftsmanship of plumbing.

What should our readers know about your business?
We are most proud of being in business for going on 5 years now. It has been a struggle to get through all different sorts struggles, starting the year of the pandemic being one. We have helped over 1000 customers and have 5 star reviews. We rarely have warranty calls but when we do we get the job done. We pride ourselves on taking care of the customer. It was not and still is not easy but it is rewarding. Being able to work with my family and being able to provide for my family feels absolutely amazing. We have learned that not everyone’s way of business is a model we agree with but that to take every opportunity to learn and to grow. I want the world to know that we provide a genuine service and also care about our customers as if they were our own family. We treat people the way we want them to treat our most loved family members.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First dinner at Blue Sushi downtown Denver. Then go out downtown for some dancing and drinks! Stay the night with me and then head up to black hawk casino. Stay the night at the monarch. Go up to Glenwood Hot Springs try the main place and iron mountain. Take a different way back and check out Red Rocks Venue.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I could not have done all of this with out God to start if it was not for his guidance and blessings we have received throughout our journey and even to lead us to this journey. Then obviously my business partner/my dad. He is extremely smart and KNOWS plumbing. When I was younger I used to go out on plumbing calls with him and have always admired and learned from his work ethic. My husband, he has been there for the big moments to help celebrate, and some of the worst moments to hug my tears away. My sister, if it was not for her I would not be able to be present with my son and work, she is literally an extension of me and helps me so much in my personal and work life and she’s my best friend. There are also so many people successful and not that I have been able to learn from to help me get to where I am today.
