We had the good fortune of connecting with Brent Facchinello and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brent, what do you attribute your success to?
At Miraflora, we believe that our organic hemp flower oil helps people. That’s not just marketing B.S.—it’s why we founded the company. To us, success means giving people a natural, healthy way to de-stress, sleep, relieve pain, and find the joy in everyday life. We put a lot into making our products the best for people and the planet, and we’re proud of the results.

We don’t just talk, we walk the walk and make products consumers can trust; Miraflora products are backed by science thanks to Botanacor, Colorado’s first and only certified hemp testing laboratory with the Colorado Department of Health and Environment (CDPHE). Each product has a Certificate of Analysis to ensure safe levels of heavy metals, pesticides, solvents, and THC.

We’re proud that our business helps people flourish naturally, and that we’re doing it in a way that instills the utmost confidence in our products.

What should our readers know about your business?
Miraflora Naturals is a family-owned and -operated USDA certified organic CBD business that makes sparkling beverages, tinctures, soft gels, bath bombs, dog chews, recovery balm, and so much more.

There are several things that set us apart from others.

First, we own and operate our 160-acre organic farm. It’s one of Colorado’s original homesteads—and we have the deed from Ulysses S. Grant to prove it. We are the farm’s second owners, and it’s been operating organically since before that was a thing. A lot of other brands source non-organic CBD oil from third parties and stick their label on it, whereas Miraflora products are always in our control—from seed to seal, we provide full product traceability.

Next, Miraflora hemp is fed by pure snowmelt from the nearby Rockies and nutrient-rich fertilizer from our TikTok-famous alpaca herd, making the best hemp products on the planet (of course, I might be a little biased). In addition, we employ vertical integration and sustainable farming techniques including drip water systems, solar panels, and the upcycling of unused hemp stalks.

Finally, each product is tested by the first and only Colorado-certified hemp testing lab and has a Certificate of Analysis to ensure quality, dosage, and consistency. This is something we’ve been doing for years that other brands are just starting; very few—if any—of our competitors have that kind of transparency.

Ultimately, nothing worth doing is ever without challenges, and we’ve had our fair share. But because Miraflora is a family business, we are all in it together and work creatively to overcome obstacles. We believe in doing things the right way and giving back—philanthropy has been a pillar of our business from Day 1.

We want the world to know that Miraflora is the CBD brand you can trust.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We’d of course start with a tour of Miraflora’s farm where we’d enjoy the views of the Flatirons and go meet the alpaca (they come running when they hear me driving up in the buggy.)

After spending some time with the alpaca, we’d go grab a margarita and some Mexican food at the Rio in Boulder, see a concert at Red Rocks, cheer on the Rockies at Coors Field, grab some ice cream at Little Man, and have dinner at Annette’s in Aurora.

After we get our city fix, we’d head up to the mountain town of Dillon, Colo., to spend a few days on the lake I grew up on. Up there, we’d go fly-fishing, hiking, or skiing, and probably drink a few craft beers and maybe even a whiskey or two (I’ve become a bit of a collector).

Colorado has so much to offer—I feel so lucky to have grown up in such a beautiful place.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Prior to co-founding Miraflora, I spent nearly a decade at Molson Coors where I had many great bosses and mentors who were actively involved in my personal career development and helped get me to where I am now.

Thanks to them, I was able to grow my personal and professional skills, gaining more confidence and executive presence, and was inspired to pursue an MBA at the University of Denver. This ultimately led me down the entrepreneurship trail.

Now that I am an entrepreneur, Christopher Wynne, my business partner and cousin who has an amazing start-up success track record, teaches me daily about thriving as an entrepreneur and helps me manage the daily challenges of running your own business.
