We had the good fortune of connecting with Bri Campagnini and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bri, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I’ve always loved creating ever since I can remember. I started out creating polymer clay earrings during the first quarantine, and in 2021 I established Elysian Collective! My mission was to help others express themselves through accessories as unique as they are.

Creating polymer clay earrings allowed me to create art in a physical, wearable form. Which was exciting for me because prior to Elysian Collective, I was a graphic designer so EVERYTHING was digital! So being able to create something that was unique, and one of a kind was surreal.

I truly love creating everything Elysian Collective has to offer from one of a kind earrings, to graphics. I recently made the decision to branch out and create other items as well such as necklaces and bracelets, and are continuing to grow into an online boutique! I can’t wait to continue to expand and work with other artists as well.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Each pair of earrings are carefully crafted to be durable, and one-of-a-kind. I’m a one man show so I do everything on my own. I curate the collections, sketch the designs, buy supplies to make earrings, condition the clay, and also cut, sand, bake and assemble each pair of clay earrings.

It’s been a challenge trying to create, but also figure out how to get my work out there though social media. Social media is constantly changing, which means we have had to adapt and do the same!

Plus on top of running Elysian Collective (and all the jobs!), I’m a stay at home mama to three little ones. So it’s definitely a handful at times juggling the business, children, and keeping myself on track!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The first stop would definitely have to be Amity Coffee Roasters. They have the most amazing coffee, and delicious treats. Then right down the street is Wilderlove, and they’re the most amazing antique shop! After that we would probably make our way to the beach to walk some trails, or maybe shop. Then grab something to eat and drink at Dogfish Head with some of my business gal pals!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

I wouldn’t be where I’m at if it wasn’t for the love, and support from family, friends and my amazing customers. My amazing husband is my biggest supporter, and has been with me every step of the way. My grandmother passed away in 2021, and I never would have kept going without her…she was and is one of my biggest inspirations. My sweet little girls motivate me to keep making and trying new things, and always have the kindest words to say about everything I make. My parents, especially my mother always is sharing all of my work, and buying gifts from me. And I’ve been absolutely blessed with the love and support from my best friends. Kash Collections, Chicka & Co., Oddities by Third Eye, are not just businesses I work with but are some of the most amazing women I’ve met. And I have to shout out Amity Coffee Roasters for always having me in do pop ups, and being the best coffee shop and making sure I get my coffee fix!
