We had the good fortune of connecting with Brianna Roybal and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brianna, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand is amazing customer service and a wonderful product. I go above and beyond for every customer who inquires or books with me. I am very responsive and great communication is key.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Starting a business is hard work and is not for the faint of heart. I would love to say that starting this business has given me more free time and a better work-life balance, but it hasn’t yet. I will have to be patient and continue to grind until I build it up to that point. Will I get there? Yes, but it doesn’t happen overnight. I started Foothills Picnics in 2021 and I am still bartending full-time as well. I’m going into my 3rd year and I have come such a long way in so many things. Looking back at my very first setups makes me proud of where I am now, and I will never stop trying to improve!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live in Fort Collins and absolutely love it out here! I would rent a boat and take them out on Horsetooth Reservoir. It is nestled right under the foothills and is so beautiful for being close to town.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My shoutout is to my life partner, Evan. When I first told him I wanted to start Foothills Picnics, he was very supportive and helped me create the website. He even has helped me set up and clean up picnics and slumber parties. Foothills Picnics wouldn’t be as successful today without his love and support.
