We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Morgan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittany, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Persistence has without a doubt been the most important factor behind my success. I got into real estate during the foreclosure crisis in 2007, against advice from most of my family and friends. The market was incredibly tough and many in the industry were getting out as they couldn’t make a living in the current market conditions. Instead of surrendering defeat, I began working in short sales and foreclosures and built industry relationships that I still have 17 years later. Different markets call for different strategies and pivoting is key, however, putting in the work each day, even when the results aren’t immediate is paramount to achieving success. Success only looks glamorous from the outside, from the inside, it’s a lot of hard work!

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets me apart from others realtors is my concierge style service. From start to finish we handle all the details, which is really important when you consider the stress of buying or selling a home. From making recommendations on renovations and repairs that will yield an ROI, to picking finishes and managing contractors, to staging and high end marketing, including beautiful photography and videography and managing the entire contract through closing, I am by your side the entire time. Taking such excellent care of my customers, providing valuable market insights and helping them to maximize their profits or negotiate on their purchases has lead to an incredible business built solely on repeat clients and their referrals.

Of course, success is never easy. I began really focusing on building my career with two children under 2 years of age, juggling motherhood and building a thriving business is always challenging. In the beginning, you could often find me wearing a baby to showings, or writing an offer with a child on my lap. While my kids are older now, the time constraints of this job can still be difficult, but I love incorporating my kids into my business and showing them that they can chose to have a family and be successful in business as well.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
As a Colorado Native, there are so many incredible places to visit! Some favorites for where I’d take a friend who was visiting are as follows; Red Rocks for a concert, Coors Field for a ball game (especially on the 4th of July with their spectacular fire work show), A hike at the Parker Incline followed by some coffee at Deja Brew or Kunjani and a pastry from Poulette Bakeshop (also in Parker). And you can’t forget dinner! Kaos or Esters are some of my favorite spots for pizza, The Cherry Cricket will always have my favorite burger, Guard and Grace is my hands down favorite place for a great steak and I love going down to Provision in Castle Rock for after dinner drinks! Also, friends visiting the area they have to check out the new and improved Casa Bonita, such a staple and something everyone should experience.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My dad was my earliest supporter and from the time I was young, he was someone who encouraged my entrepreneurial spirit and my desire to work for myself. He was someone I would often go to when I felt discouraged, and I’d always leave feeling like I had someone in my corner. I’ve also had many coaches and mentors in the real estate space and I can honestly say I wouldn’t be where I am today without them! Last year I began working with a long time friend and mentor, Jessica Northrop as she desired to build a team of highly skilled, established agents who could support each other not only professionally but also encourage personal growth and friendship as well. Jess has been an integral part in my success through her mentorship, friendship and coaching.
