We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Osborne and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brittany, what do you want your legacy to be?
My legacy is not about success in the traditional sense—it’s about impact. I want to be remembered as an esthetician who truly cared, who created a space where people felt seen, valued, and uplifted. Skincare is more than just looking good; it’s about self-care, confidence, and overall well-being. I want every client to leave my studio not just with healthier skin, but with a lighter heart, feeling like they just spent time with a friend who supports them unconditionally. In an industry that often prioritizes sales over service, I stand for genuine care, kindness, and integrity. My goal was never to be rich or famous, but to provide the kind of experience I would want for myself—one that nurtures both the inside and the outside. If I am remembered for giving 100%, for being kind, for making people feel good in their own skin, and for showing my children that passion and honesty lead to a fulfilling life, then I have achieved my purpose.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is a small skincare studio, and I am a one-woman show. What sets me apart is my unique approach—I blend clinical, results-driven treatments with the luxury and relaxation of a spa experience. Though my studio may be small, I strive to provide the pampering of a five-star resort while delivering the same transformative results as a medical spa.
I believe in achieving healthy, glowing skin through consistency rather than aggressive treatments. Many places push harsh procedures for quick fixes, but I’ve found the best results come from building and maintaining a strong skin barrier. This is the key to preventing pigmentation issues, acne, and premature aging. I start with gentle treatments and only progress to more intensive methods when truly necessary.
Another aspect that makes my studio different is my pricing philosophy. Before becoming an esthetician and spa owner, I disliked the pressure to make large financial commitments. I want my clients to feel like they receive more than what they paid for—without feeling forced into expensive treatments or products. I work with each individual’s budget to create an effective homecare routine, because while skincare is important, financial stress should never be part of self-care. The only essentials I emphasize are a good cleanser and sunscreen, and I never pressure clients to buy from me. My approach is simple: treat every person exactly how I’d want to be treated.
I discovered many cookie-cutter facials, but I love customizing each treatment. Skincare is a science, and every ingredient should serve a purpose.
The journey to where I am today has not been easy. When I decided to become an esthetician, I had just given birth to my second child, was working two jobs, and attending school at night. I never imagined I’d be here, but my passion kept me going. Skincare isn’t just my career—it’s something I would be learning about even if it weren’t my job. I truly love what I do, and that has been the key to my success.
Starting a business was terrifying, and leaving my employer to pursue my dream was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I’m a people-pleaser by nature, but this was the first time I put myself first and took a risk for my own future. It was a leap of faith, and while entrepreneurship comes with challenges, the work doesn’t feel like work when you love it.
Throughout this journey, I’ve learned so much—not just about skincare but about people. Everyone has insecurities, nobody is perfect, and I’ve met incredible clients who teach me something new every day. I’ve learned the importance of boundaries, the power of intuition, and above all, that the world is full of good people. I have been unbelievably lucky to attract amazing, loyal clients who support and refer me endlessly, and I am so grateful.
If I could share one thing with the world, it’s that if I can do it, anyone can. I started with nothing and had no help—just determination. If you have a passion that excites you and makes you eager to learn, you can make it happen. Take the leap, be smart, and trust yourself. Dreams don’t achieve themselves—you have to go for them.
One last thing I’d share is that perfection doesn’t exist. Even those who seem flawless have insecurities. We all age, and we all have imperfections—what truly matters is embracing the journey, aging gracefully, and focusing on a fulfilled life rather than chasing perfection.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
You’re talking to quite the homebody whose best friends are my kids—ha! But when it comes to showing someone an amazing time in Colorado, the mountains are the ultimate destination. I’d book a cozy Airbnb with beautuful views, somewhere peaceful yet close enough to adventure.
Depending on the season, maybe a scenic hike or a relaxing soak in some natural hot springs. Of course, sunscreen and a hat are non-negotiables!
For food, I love discovering new restaurants, so we’d make it a mission to try some of the best local spots- I love trying new coffee places. I also love to dine on a patio.
Beyond the outdoors, maybe even a little retail therapy. I love to shop!
Overall, the natural beauty is what makes Colorado so special.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I owe so much of my growth to the incredible educators, brands, mentors, and other skin care professionals who have shared their knowledge and expertise with me. Their guidance has helped shape the foundation of my skills, and I’m forever grateful for the education they’ve provided. But the biggest credit goes to my clients—because in this line of work, true learning happens hands-on. Every face, every skin type, every unique concern they bring to me fuels my passion and deepens my understanding. Their trust, their questions, and their challenges keep me inspired and constantly evolving. And beyond my work, my children are my greatest motivation. Being a mom has given me a strength and determination I never knew I had. They are the reason I push forward, the reason I want to set an example of hard work, passion, and kindness. I wouldn’t be here without them, and for that, I am endlessly grateful.
