Meet Cazzie Lynn | Model/Dental Assistant/Influencer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cazzie Lynn and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cazzie, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Initially, I had no dreams or desires to become a model or anything that brought me too much attention. I used to be extremely shy and so insecure. To the point where people would walk up to me and tell me I’m pretty and that I should model and I wouldn’t believe them. One day, I saw a Facebook post that was looking for fresh models for an uprising local modeling agency. I decided to go with no expectations of getting in at all! I ended up getting chosen and I was so shocked I was speechless. From that point on, I was forced into a whole new world and found my way. I learned my strengths I learned how beautiful I was and how beautiful I could be. I learned that even your flaws make you beautiful because they make you stand out. Beauty is not just pretty faces and poses it’s confidence. Confidence is truly key. Once you gain confidence any insult or any verbal dagger is cotton to the skin. So I’m actually forever grateful for my experiences positive and negative because my skin is so tough and my confidence is so deep I feel untouchable. That is the kind of confidence and body positivity I want to reach out to everyone else. You don’t have to be a size 0. You can wear that crop top and show those stretch marks and look just as fabulous! So in hindsight, my initial purpose of doing this was to find confidence in myself and now my purpose has grown into helping and inspiring others to find theirs too!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Aside from modeling I did pursue dentistry and graduate as a dental assistant. If I can’t help influence one way I’ll always find another way to do it. I’m just a people person and I love making people feel good. It definitely wasn’t easy! A lot of studying and hard work is important when you have peoples lives in your hand so the pressure is real lol! I learned to never give up no matter how hard it gets and no matter who tells you you can’t do it. Believe in yourself. I want people to understand that my brand is simply be yourself unapologetically.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Some of the places I love to go to are any bars downtown honestly. I like to try new places. I suck at planning! My face would definitely be next to the word spontaneous. I’ll go on a roller coaster. Scooters. Anything.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The main people I can always thank who have supported me are my family. My daughters. My friends. Especially Vanessa. Love you girl! One person who truly believed in me and saw my spark and deserves so much recognition is the main photographer I created with Christina Dogué. Check her out!
