Meet Ceaonnda Ware | Self taught Baker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ceaonnda Ware and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ceaonnda, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
At first I didn’t even know where to begin. I was giving up on something I didn’t even start. Until one day my mom shared with me words of encouragement and said “Ceaonnda it’s time for you to come up and start your business”. From that day forward I knew that I was ready to turn my visions into reality.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
When I was 11 years old, I remember sitting in my bedroom telling myself I wanted to become a baker. I began journaling about starting a baking business, including the name of my business, ideas for my bakery, and how unique my desserts would be. Even when I set aside this dream and wanted to forget it, I knew God was calling me to it, but I didn’t want to, and no matter how much I tried to run away, it always came back to me. Flashbacks of me sitting in my bedroom when I was 11. Recently, my mom came to me saying Ceaonnda it’s time for you to start your business. I was so nervous, telling myself I wasn’t ready, that the time wasn’t right. She kept on telling me that the world was ready to see my work.
Keeping my mind focused on the Lord, I’m excited about the new opportunities. Seeing my dad, mom, and two older sisters made me realize that if they could do it, I could too. Getting my business off the ground wasn’t easy; it took a lot of prayers and encouragement. A valuable lesson I’ve learned throughout my life is to “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6 and this Bible verse still inspire me to this day!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
A few places I would take my friends to visit are COATI food hall, Boulder pho, Cheesecake Factory, Cheddars, Kung fu tea, Day day up tea, Aspen mountain ski resort, and horseback riding in Vail.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shout out to the Lord because, without His grace and mercy that’s upon my life, I wouldn’t be able to do what I’m doing now.
My dad, mom and my siblings, for encouraging me to keep going! Love you guys.💗
