Meet Chandra Martinez | Realtor and Team Lead – Homes of NoCo Group with Keller Williams Preferred Realty

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chandra Martinez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chandra, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
“The one important thing I have learned over the years is the difference between taking one’s work serioudly and taking one’s self seriously. The first is imperative and the second is disastrous” –Margot Fonteyn
I heard that quote years ago and it’s always resonated with me.
I think the success of any brand needs to based on authenticity. I am authentic in everything I do, flaws and all. My reels and comments sometimes tend to be very sarcastic, because I am kind of snarky and sarcastic in real life…and I think finding the humor in some of the harder parts of our business helps everyone relate a little bit. Once you get to know me though, you find I have a giant heart and will do anything for anyone.
The heart part makes me very authentic in my client care, I may be a smarta$$ and make light of things, but I take making sure my clients are cared for every step of the way very seriously. I am there to be their biggest advocate, and love the relationships I have been able to build out of that.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
After 20 years in big data tech sales, I decided to take a leap of faith and go head first into my passion for real estate. I’ve been very blessed to be able to juggle a career and motherhood. I feel like I finally a ‘home’ for my career and have been going full steam ahead with Homes of NoCo Group. Our team truly prides ourselves on an elevated level of client care and service, it truly is more than just a transaction. We truly believe Everyone deserves a place to call home, and when you become a client, you also become part of our family.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
There are so many great places in our state to visit. A show at RedRocks is an obvious must, of course….for anyone coming to Colorado. But I’d encourage people to check out my little ‘backyard’ on the i76 corridor. Only because I am kind of a homebody when i’m not working lol.
We love Barr Lake State Park! They have an amazing nature center and trails. One of my favorite spots to have a beer and grab a food truck dinner is at Something Brewery in Brighton. And it’s hard to miss a Taco Tuesday at Renegado Tacos and Margs off of 56th and Tower. Their paloma marg is something I dream about. 🙂

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband is my biggest cheerleader. He’s been there every step of the way! He runs his own business as well (check out CTFabworks), but he’s always willing to rearrange his schedule, or feed our children when I have a last minute schedule change. So shout out to Travis, thank you and I love you!
