We had the good fortune of connecting with Chris Haven and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chris, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
As an artist it was the next step in furthering my career.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a local native Denver artist. I have multiple styles of art so I think that helps set me apart from other artists, the most known ones being the “City Scapes” and “Pyramid People”. I have been doing art for a long time so I think my persistence helped get me to where I am today professionally. It was not easy but I believe because I had such a passion for art it made it easier. I’ve learned to accept being turned down for art proposals, jobs, festivals and to be ok with that and not get discouraged. I hope my art makes you smile and inspires you to be creative!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would say check out Rino art district to see all the murals. I love Cart Driver and Barcelona for restaurants but we have so many good ones the list could go on and on! Make sure to take a trip to the mountains even if it’s close like Red Rocks or Golden. Denver has come a long way and has lots of hidden gems for art, food and nightlife so be sure to explore, there’s new places popping up all the time!

My shout out is dedicated to all upcoming artists trying to “make it”
